Newk's Eatery — Restaurant in Newnan

I normally do not have anything negative to say about Newk’s. However, the past few times I have ordered from you and delivery from UberEats there have been issues. Missing items, items not following the special instructions, stuff like that. Today, November 3, both Newk’s AND UberEats totally messed up. I had placed an order for myself and family. It was supposed to be delivered by 8:15. I received a text from the supposed delivery person that the order was not at Newk’s and she didn’t have it to deliver to me. So I called Newk’s who basically told me I was SOL because “they can’t keep track of who picked up the order or even if the order was delivered. I told UberEats they needed to hire more responsible drivers, but Newk’s is just as much responsible in us not getting our food tonight. They should be checking who’s picking up the orders so they can say “Sally picked up the order so we will need to talk with her.” I’m not able to go out to eat for various health reasons, so I have to rely on delivery or take out food. I should receive my orders according to instructions and in a timely manner. Newk’s and UberEats dropped the ball on this one. You’re both just as responsible as the other. Really enjoyed lunch at Newks! The Red, white, and blueberry spinach salad was huge and tasted great! The process took a minute to understand as we walked in the door and we're trying to read the menu beside the front door while other patrons we're coming/going. (I recommend checking the menu online before hand if possible). Once we got our bearings, the process was fast and efficient (Especially for peak lunch crowd time). Our food was prepared as ordered and brought out very quickly by a polite and professional staff. Each staff member encountered was helpful and accommodating. The business was clean, open, and well maintained. You can see everything going on in the food prep area (Love the transparency). Also tried the desert brownie and Big Crispy Treat. Went to eat there. There is a refrigerator at the pick up take out line where a puddle of water was right next to my chair. I was with my Home Health Aid who sat down before I did, and did not see it. I brought it to 4 people's attention including a worker from Peachtree City who when I asked was he a manager said "no"...then he said " not at this store" I don't care who it is...somebody take the iniative to CARE or JEHOVAH ( Psalm 83 King James Version) is going to place the store under new management that's deserving and sincerely cares.

I ordered a salad. It was delicious up until towards the middle of it...it tasted like either someone hauked in it, or was not wearing gloves. The way I could tell, it tasted like cigarettes, and I do not smoke. It was a very expensive salad. My Home Health Aid bought it for me.
