Barberitos — Restaurant in Newnan

On a Saturday evening after walking the Linc Trail and visiting Bath & Body works for a sale, I thought this would be a good place to try out since i love mexican eats and it was new! Upon entering the store I was welcomed by preparer of the food and immediately felt like I was in a "welcome to Moe's " type restaurant. Upon looking at the menu options I learned quickly this restaurant was almost identical to Southwest Moes. At that time it was kind of a "let down" because I was seeking a more authentic type mexican. However I was here so I was like what the hey!

I ordered a burrito bowl and noticed they prepare it in a much smaller bowl than that of Moes. The ingredients didnt look hot or as fresh but I was still holding high hopes. I then learned they charged extra for sour cream and guac...I mean really?? I still proceeded with order.

Upon sitting down and enjoying my food i noticed the condiment table was not properly stocked and the was no regular salsa...they restaurant wasnt even busy and this was the case. I sat down to enjoy my food. Hoping by some chance the food would save day.

The food, however, did not. Absolutely no flavor at all! Bland! I think the chicken was from a can! The ingredients were NOT fresh. This place will not last long at all! I will not return..

To top it off, Moments later the cashier came to finally restock the preparation table. Welp when he bent over my 15 yr old daughter and i saw his boxers! Which had a skid mark stain on it! Trust me I can not make this up! I almost snuck a pic but i didnt want to embarrass the poor high school aged kid... but if he is reading this...kid just know, them blue boxers are not clean honey!

I would say fight the crowd at the new chipotle or go to Moes...Don't come here...not worth it. I only gave two stars because the workers were...

Placed a pick up order, and thought nothing of it to look to see if everything was there, wife just gave birth parents are in town and I Was just looking to something that was close to the hospital that looked good. So I ordered for myself a burrito bowl, I do keto and this is not a keto friendly place in terms of servicing size, a few bits of steak and I even added extra meat which was not much weighted food as I track calories and it was a total of 5 oz for the meat, with a total of 8 oz for everything, I had avocado, spinach sour cream and cheese. The soda was missing and the cheese dip was also missing, ordered extra chips and it didn’t seem like enough for 5 people. I called about the missing items and was refunded for missing items, which was positive although they did try to get me to come back after I had already made it to my destination. How ever they need to cater more towards those that are eating in a certain way. As well as those who get loaded up with rice and beans. I could have easily just have gone got a steak 8 and broccoli and would have been much more full, burrito bowls need work, cant speak for the burritos, wife said hers was good. Daughter enjoyed the lil Barberitos meal. Me personally I will not be retuning. To costly for far to little in way of my life...

I came here to grab some dinner & the staff doesn’t greet you when you walk in. They just stare at you, not even a smile. Once it’s your turn they don’t ask what you would like or anything. They just wait for you to say something first. They looked like they were ready to be off their shift by the way they were moving all sluggish & stuff. The prep area looked disgusting. They’re such messy workers. Food was all over the place when they were making my bowl & I had second thoughts on how it was gonna taste or if I was gonna get food poisoning. Half of their meats were already empty and they didn’t look like they planned to make any more for the day unfortunately. I got my food and went to my truck to eat & sadly the steak was so tough and over cooked I couldn’t even eat it with my lettuce or cheese. I had to throw the whole bowl away. I wasted my money & I wasn’t very happy about it. I wouldn’t recommend coming here at 5-7pm bc they are ready to go & could care less about customers coming in after those hours. Be smart, go somewhere else to eat because this location isn’t the place to be. If they would hire better staff with a great work ethic then maybe I would change my review until then I wish I...
