My friend and I came here for lunch and each bought 2 slices of pizza from the counter. Upon arriving, we saw the pizza on display with flies flying around it and the store, pizza not covered, this was mentioned in another review on this place, very unsanitary. I ordered 2 slices of meatlover pizza for takeout which wasn’t in stock because of the confusing display with the pizzas that aren’t lined up, so it was confusing again to see what was actually what. I was told it was not in stock and asked for 2 slices of whatever I got in the last 4th picture in this review. My friend got 2 slices of buffalo chicken ranch. After paying $20.36 for 4 slices and 1 can of coke, we waited. However, the employees seemingly somehow did not know or were not informed our 4 slices were TAKEOUT and placed them in the wrong box I assume as an employee handed what was our box first then my friend saw it had a pizza inside we did not order, giving it back, so in the mixup we waited and the initial employee who took our order in the first place put our slices in our box, then slightly tossed/threw it on the counter with a non caring attitude because it seemed like we inconvenienced them and was rude when they were not paying attention to what is ordered for TAKEOUT or EAT IN. The pizza crust and several spots on slices were burnt, see pics included. TL:DR - Mildly rude service - Burnt pizza (pics in review) - Unsanitary (flys flying around uncovered pizzas)

Having moved to the area recently, my mother had looked for areas where I could eat due to my severe food allergies. And that’s why, 16 years ago as a 3 year old, I ate my first pizza ever (upside down! Haha). Very quickly Jules became my favorite pizza spot. Every few days I would beg my parents (along with my siblings) to get pizza. I am very fortunate to return here on a road trip after moving out of state, and it seems the pizza has only gotten better! Additionally they now have products from The Happy Mixer (a local gluten/allergy free bakery) which I used to purchase food from a great deal when I was younger. Thank you Jules for changing my life! You have the best Gluten Free pizza in the world! I love you all <3

This place has dairy free crust and we were able to build a dairy free pie easily. They offered to use new utensils in the back to limit cross contamination. They had a water station available for everyone. They did not have too many large tables a family more than 4 would have to sit at different tables. Everything tasted great. The bathroom was clean enough. It was a bit smokey when we went but I imagine that is not a consistent issue. The crust is so thin I could have ordered a larger pie.

I telephoned an order in for over $146 worth of pizzas for a gathering I was having, as I was super impressed with the pictures on the menu. When we picked the order up, there were no diners at all, so not a busy time for this location. The pizzas were horrible! Some of the toppings were missing (even the toppings that I requested and paid extra for), and the toppings that were present were huge chunks - the pizzas did not even look appetizing. I was embarrassed to serve, but I always say, it’s the company that matters. The crust was tasteless and very very mushy. There were two (2) pizzas leftover and nobody wanted to take them home - they went in the trash still in their boxes. I have talked with three (3) individuals from my gathering over the last two (2) days and they reluctantly told me that they either got sick that evening, or had the runs the very next day. I am mortified! So not only were the pizzas unappetizing, obviously the ingredients being used were not fresh. After entering a complaint on my online receipt, I received a voicemail from the young girl who took my order - she stated that “the sausage you ordered on the bruschetta pizza is placed on the pizza before the other toppings, so that’s why you probably didn’t see it”. We served each pizza to our guests as a tasting - a different pizza each time - there was no sausage on our bruschetta pizza, and there was no drizzle on our chicken pizza, which I would like to add the chicken was absolutely tasteless and appeared to be old - the drizzle would have been the only thing on the pizza that had any flavor, but it was missing. I am speechless at how bad the food was and the price - even though I was more than willing to pay - it’s a shame it did not live up to what was advertised and expected. Super disappointed. We used to eat at Jules Thin Crust frequently - what has happened - food made my guests ill?

I received a call from the Operation's Manager of Jules Thin Crust in Newtown, Pa, Mr. Caruso, and he did credit my credit card for the entire amount of my bill regarding the above review. Mr. Caruso was very nice and...

$35 for 2 medium pizzas (one being gluten free, with chicken, bacon (they didn'thave ham)mushrooms, pineapple.... the other a plain cheese)... ok... I don't mind paying for quality food... but the level of disappointment was at a new high. It was dry and flavorless.

I chose this place based on a recommendation from a friend as well as some reviews from Google.

Definitely NOT my taste. I pride myself on making Gluten Free and Healthier foods that doesn't sacrifice flavor... so maybe my pallet was just asking too much. I was just trying to sit back and have someone else do the cooking tonight... I usually stick with a strick selection of who I'll order from and ventured outside of that tonight. Not again! I'll stick to what I know.

By the way.... my friend said Gluten Free is usually dry... so not true. People who CAN'T make Gluten Free well make it dry. Gluten Free mixtures do not behave in the same way and need to be treated...
