Newtown Pizza — Restaurant in Newtown Township

Unfortunately, I just had a horrible experience with this establishment. I called in an order for my boss and I, and was told it would be about 30-45 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes later, it finally shows up. The delivery guy was very apologetic and told me that no one told him that it was a delivery and that it had been sitting there without a delivery ticket on it. I still tipped him and opened my food to find that my chicken quesadilla and fries had obviously been sitting for over 30 minutes and the sour cream was so hot it was like soup. Luckily my boss ordered a cold hoagie, so she was able to eat that, but her fries were terrible. I called to speak to a manager and was on hold for over 5 minutes before he picked up and asked what I wanted. He interrupted me as I was trying to tell him that I was told 30-45 minutes to say there is no way they said 30 because it takes at least 45, as if I was lying to him. I explained that regardless it took over an hour. He then asks,' well what do you want me to do' with so much attitude and lack of concern that I am shocked he is in such a position. This place lacks customer service and is unreliable if ordering delivery, especially because my office is only 10 minutes from the location. I will never order from here again and discourage anyone else who would like their food in a timely manner or to be treated with any respect by a manager when their establishment is clearly...

We pulled into the parking lot and walked into the place. We were immediately greeted and we sat down after being given menus. The waiter came over and asked if we needed more time. The answer was yes so he left and, he gave us a sufficient amount of time to decide; neither too long nor too short. He took our orders and, gave us our drinks. My buddy ordered a soda but the soda tasted like seltzer water. When he was told about it, he immediately asked if my buddy wanted something else. Root beer was the preferred beverage. When the food came out, it was hot and delicious. My buddy got a pizza steak with mega fries and I got a garlic cheesesteak. My buddy said the steak was so so but the sauce was excellent. My garlic cheesesteak tasted weird but I attribute that to it being made with real garlic. The aroma was potent, but in a good way. The staff was friendly and very helpful as my buddy wanted to take the rest of her food with her. My buddy was brought a container for the french fries and a aluminum foil for the rest of the sandwich. He then gave us the check and told us to pay up front. I have been ordering from Newtown Pizza for a very long time. I don't think that that will be the case any longer. I am always very nice and understanding when they deliver a little late or are rude to me on the phone, but they had zero consideration to me as what should be a valued customer. I am now eating my 1 hour and a half cold meal, that they forgot to include the sprite in. I called twice to check on my order and they said it would be there soon. I asked finally after 1 hour and 20 minutes for a price reduction and was denied even that. I order from there nearly 2 times a week. That will no longer be the case.
