Potbelly — Restaurant in Niles Township

It was a very horrible experience. My family and I have always been Potbelly customers for years. Their sandwiches are great. We have been going to this location many times until now. It was very appalling the way a certain employee by the name Nicole service us. She was extremely rude. While she was preparing our sandwiches she had a nasty attitude and instead of handling us the sandwiches in a proper way she threw them. From my understanding and my way of being that is very unprofessional and very inhuman towards us as customers. We did address the situation to the manager name Shannon. She was apologizing for the inconvenience but didn't rectify the problem in a professional way. All Shannon did was say something to Nicole discretely while in the meantime Nicole was staring at us giving us a dirty look. As employees of Potbelly you need to keep in mind that the major contribution to your paychecks is us customers. My advice to Nicole "Don't do unto others what you don't want done unto you"; learn some manners; and treat people like humans not like animals. And Potbelly future reference know how to conduct your interviews so you know who are your employees so in the future you don't have certain employees mistreating...

I stopped in yesterday 8/7/2023 because I was waiting for an appointment at the Apple Store. It was my first time ever being in a Potbelly. What I noticed first was how HOT the restaurant was, as I was waiting in line the sweat was dripping down my back, it was hot and humid in the store.

I mentioned it to an employee and that said they know it's HOT, that's why there were fans behind the counter blowing on the employees. They also let me know that management refuses to lower the temperature in the store. Several of the workers were swearing through their shirts it was that hot. Even though everyone was overheating in that place all the workers did a great job.

My name is Patricia cipolla and I currently work at Macy's Old orchard. I was at the restaurant on Monday April 22nd trying to get my free sandwich and cookie. But I ran into a complaint at the restaurant my phone was working so I had trouble with the potbelly app to show this young black manager I had a few sandwich and cookie on my app I had my two receipts that you are supposed to show but yet this manager Monday evening around 5 pm told me to get out of her restaurant and I couldn't use my rewards in that store.
