This place is just not good. There really wasn't anything redeeming about it. A co-worker and I went for an early lunch after seeing some reviews about slow service, figured we'd beat a potential lunch hour crowd. I ordered at the kiosk, him at the counter, no issues with ordering. I got Tacos, a chips and *small Guac with a coke. Came out to $24+. You take a number and go sit, someone brings the food out to you. My coworker's food along w/the Chips & Guac came out first. Unfortunately, the chips were very stale. He went back up the counter to ask for a new bag and they said they'd bring one out to us. Next bag came with my tacos. That bag was ALSO stale. In fact, the person at the counter told us to hang on, as they'd get us another fresh bag soon before I had even taken a bite out of this one. So they knowingly brought out stale chips for a 2nd time. Third bag was finally fresh. The tacos were very small. I mean VERY small. I don't recall the menu calling them "street tacos" but they were some of the smallest tacos I've ever seen. Not only that, typically street tacos are served with doubled up tortillas, these were not. Making them very delicate. The pork had a paste like consistency and was clearly not being made fresh on-site. Aside from the food, the restaurant layout is frustrating. If you need literally anything, you must to go back up to the counter and ask. Fork? Napkin? Straw? Go ask for it. Not even close to to being worth the price I paid. Possibly not worth it...
Read moreCame by while shopping for a quick bite with my partner. We started with the Queso Fundido (added chorizo) and the Citrus Basil agua fresca. The loaded queso was bomb! it was had a good distribution of toppings, and a fair portion of chorizo added. The chorizo wasn’t too greasy and was flavorful. The agua fresca was refreshing and wasn’t too sweet like a lot of places try to make them. For our entree, we split the Beef Quesabirria Torta. It was loaded with tender beef that was seasoned nicely. The bread was a bit thick but it helped hold together the sandwich when you dipped it in the broth. Overall the food was great and it was ready quick. I appreciated how they took our allergies into consideration and used fresh ingredients. As for the interior, its a small shop and seems more for quick bites. Its not somewhere you would go to sit-out with the family or a date. My only gripe is the cost - it’s pretty expensive, even with us splitting an entree. Regardless, you will get good food, and I think it is worth a...
Read moreThis place is going to fail fast if they don't get a handle on wait times and cooking their food... Here is your warning. Anyone who's worked in quick food service knows what a bump board is. I walked in to potentially order if they weren't busy. There were 3 other orders on their bump board so I figured ok 10 minute or so wait & ordered at the kiosk. I then proceeded to wait over TWENTY minutes for my food. I did see door dash orders come in and failed to see a large table in the back. (No large order on the screen) As I listened to the staff they seemingly screwed up multiple items on this order that they were fixing. Finally, I get my food - bump board was red for my order. I walk back to work just to open my box and see a thrown together mess... Mind you I paid $16 to have cold food, raw tortillas and even if it was warm I don't think it would have made the taste all that better. I will...
