After trying many overpriced items and not loving anything I thought I'd just tell the barista what I wanted. I informed the cashier I wanted a sweet iced coffee with cream. The cashier said she knew what to make me and just rang something up. I trusted that she'd make me an amazing drink, so I said okay. A minute or so passes and I go up to get my order and it's a black cold brew...not sweet and zero cream. I then told a barista that it's not what I wanted and she basically said too bad. After a minute or so she said she'd make me another drink, then after dropping it off decided to say this "next time you know what you want just say it and dont leave it up to us". I think sweet iced coffee with cream is pretty clear. Needless to say I wont be back, so there wont be a next time and they also lost the business of the company I had with me. Bottom line is the staff can be quite rude, their items are over priced and the coffee just doesnt taste good honestly. You're better off having the 7/11 coffee two...

I’m giving 5 stars for the service, smiles and friendly faces - but unfortunately zero stars for the coffee. Since arriving from Australia I’ve been dying for a real espresso coffee, a latte or cappuccino, but it appears there’s not a single place that knows how to actually texture and pour milk for milk coffees. I was disappointed after searching high and low for a venue that had an espresso machine (back home you won’t even find a place, any type of place, without one), other than Starbucks - who certainly do NOT know how to work milk. This place unfortunately was no different. I can’t drop the venues ratings though based on that, it’s obviously just an American - a country where espresso coffee culture just doesn’t exist. I so wanted to jump in behind their machine and show them how to do it - but didn’t want to insult. Again, though, the place was lively and people...

I haven’t been here in a long time. The atmosphere is pleasant. Real chill as it should be for a cafe in downtown. Ordered an egg waffle with butter and syrup, Canadian bacon egg and cheese sandwich and a large coffee. The coffee was excellent. However the egg waffle was reminiscent of an eggo waffle that I grew up eating. Not much happening there. The kicker is the Canadian bacon egg and cheese sandwich or should I say just an egg sandwich. Yep, no Canadian bacon! Just egg and cheese. Maybe we should have gone to our regular spot. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Try better! We support local businesses but it’s hard when things like...

Wished I'd had time to sit and chill because the atmosphere here was top tier. A lot to look at, from the assortment of artworks to the selection of books and games. The person at the register helped me pick something when I wandered in clueless (one of their current specials, I think it was called Maple Leaves?) and it was seriously one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. It was sweet, sure, but you could taste the coffee through all of that. We tried to go back the next day because it was so good, but they're closed on Sunday so we'll have to try again another time!

My husband and I decided to stop by this cafe while we were on vacation. Everyone was very friendly. The barista made us feel very welcomed. We took his recommendation and tried the mocha frappuccino with whip cream. I was not disappointed! It was yummy. If you're a neat freak with OCD I would place a phone order and pick it up. This place is clearly designed for the creative mind to sit back and enjoy the endless possibilities and storylines create by the decor. I also loved the personal message and artwork on my cup. Alatte thought went into this place and I love it!

When friends are in town and staying downtown, we always meet here. The baristas KNOW their coffee. If you are serious about coffee, they have answers. The pour over never disappoints. Got kids? Send them on a silent search of all the giraffes scattered around, large and small. It’s a great way to keep them occupied until the orders out—and if they are well behaved and don’t disturb others. The bacon, egg, and cheese on English muffin was ok. Nothing special, but adequate. Check out seasonal latte specials. Always cleverly conceived.
