Starbucks — Restaurant in Norfolk

Went here to pick up a togo order the other day and got the worst service at a Starbucks. I wasn’t even greeted when I walked in until a guy from the drive through said hello. I stood at a register and waited for someone to walk up and take my order. It took a minute. Everyone seemed to be in a bad mood. After I got my order taken, someone, very quietly, called it out the drink I ordered but when I turned around, no one was there so I thought I was hearing things. A few minutes later, I hear a call for the food I also ordered. When I went to pick it up the drink didn’t have what I asked for even though it was on the cup. The two food items were just thrown up on the counter, wide open for anyone to breathe on. I told the register girl that it was for a delivery before I placed the order. I had to wave my hands back and forth before I could get the attention of anyone of the 6 employees standing around. Finally, someone gave me a bag and walked away quickly before I could say thanks. As I was walking to my car, I noticed the drink didn’t have whipped cream so I had to walk back to get it fixed and again, had to stand there like a fool to get anyone’s attention. The girl that came over had a bad attitude. She asked me in a rude tone, “did you need something?”. I then told her that there was no whipped cream on my drink and it was requested. She then grabbed a small cup and put whip in it and handed it to me with no lid. I asked her for a cover and she got even meaner saying there wasn’t a lid for this cup and she can’t take the drink back because I already touched it. I also told her it was for a customer and I can’t carry an open container to my customer. She then got angry and was like, “well, I didn’t know that!” And then proceeds to put a lid on the very cup she told me didn’t have a lid that fits.. then she made me reach for the cup again and told me to have a greeeaaaat day. They have a sign here stating no discrimination, yet I walk in, jeans, t shirt, and flip flops...ask to use the bathroom because it's locked with a keypad, the guy says, "Are you planning on buying anything?" I say yes, because I was buying something. So the idea that he assumed I was some vagrant trying to use the bathroom and bail, I find RIDICULOUS, BELITTLING, AND OFFENSIVE AS HELL!! Talk about posting a sign saying "No discrimination", then completely discriminating a customer!! LAST time I go to this Starbucks!! Other rude thing. The girl asks me when I'm standing there to order, "What are you getting" in about the most negative way!! Not "What can I get you?" I thought, oh I'm sorry, so one guy working there thinks I'm a vagrant and has JUDGED me by my looks? Now this girl taking my order hates life and I'm forcing her to make me a coffee?? Ridiculous HIGH PRICED CORPORATE COMPANY that JUDGES people walking in their store!! RUDE AS CAN BE!!! Later Starbucks, you are too overpriced and staff is RUDE!! How can you always be out of the dragon fruit tea ...take it off the menu if you don't have it....@ 9 am you should not be out of anything and if you are put an out of item on the picture and take the vanilla bean mini scones out of the display case. Your prices are crazy hi but I walk away with something I didn't have my heart set on. Why do you have to see if there's any pumpkin bread available at 9 a.m. take better inventory like Walmart look on the register if you only have but so many have your register do a count down. My time is valuable I don't have time for you to check in the back every time I come. An when I end up with the pineapple tea because dragon fruit tea was out of stock both times at 9am then at least make it taste like pineapple...for as much as I spend I should not have to add nothing to my tea especially pineapple juice!!!!
