Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Norman

Yes the food there generally is good and as a customer I would be happy. However, the way some of the managers treat and speak to their employees is horrible. My daughter worked there until tonight when she called me upset and crying in the middle of her shift. When I got there I was told that the manager on duty, Ty, had yelled and cussed at her. This is the second day strsight. I went in to speak to Ty myself and as soon as I told him who I was he became rude and hateful toward me at first refusing to speak to me. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting while I witnessed him with his bare hands reaching into the ice cream machine scooping ice cream out with a container and filling other containers, then dropping the dish he was using to transfer the food on the floor. Without hesitating he picked the container off the floor and without washing it or his hands continues scooping the ice cream. Once he did speak with me he was very arrogant and completely blew me off. Finally I asked for his bosses number. Even that was a chore to get. My daughter has had several issues there from being yelled and cussed at in front of everyone to her schedule being changed without notification or warning of any kind among several other even more disturbing and even illegal issues that I will not elaborate on here. This is ridiculoud. If a manager has no issues speaking to me the way he did I can only imagine how he spoke yo her. I'm still waiting for someone above him to...

I pull up at 3:55 Christmas eve. After checking Google and seeing no updates of times. I noticed a person in the drive-through and they seem open for business. By 4:00 p.m. the person ahead of me was done making their order. I had my window dow so I could hear that they had to wait a pretty good amount of time to just get a response and give their order to the employee. Then I pull up to the speaker and I wait 5 minutes. Nothing. I say hello many times. Nothing. At 7 minutes of waiting I call the actual store where a rude young man actually answers the phone as if business is open. I was then informed with a chuckle that they closed at 4 so he "doesn't know what to tell me."

At no point of this experience do I believe they upheld any of the values that I know you train into your employees. This is not the most traffic friendly business. It's very hard to get in-and-out so I had to actually make The Choice to come to this place knowing it would be hard to get back out to get going the direction I need to go and now I've wasted my time and my gas and I am frustrated.

In this area we have quite a few places I could have chosen and I just moved here so this is my 1st attempt to try this location. Do you think I am actually going to...

Ive been here 2-3 times in the last couple of weeks...the burgers and chilli dogs are good, the fries and onion rings not so much. The fries remind me of those little potato sticks I used to eat as a kid...received mine cold and a couple of bites was all I could stand of that. Next time I ordered onion rings and they were a little better than the fries just not too many of them...maybe 5 rings? Anyway, to my main complaint, I ordered a hot fudge sundae with a brownie in it. I received it with chocolate custard and mixed with the chocolate syrup and chocolate brownie it was nasty nasty...I took it back and they said thats the way a brownie hot fudge sundae comes and offered to give me my money back but I declined and left...I have been eating hot fudge sundaes for 53 years and have never received one with chocolate ice cream. Theres supposed to be some contrast with the ingredients. Any person that enjoys/prepares food will tell you this....Whoever decided a hot fudge brownie sundae goes with chocolate ice cream should reconsider their career choice...I will be back for the burger and chillidog but...
