!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE !!!!!
On Wed. 3/24/2016 my friend and I waited about 45 minutes in the drive through line and FINALLY placed our order. We had coupons which this store issued and I have used before without a problem.
Upon coming to the window, we were told they no longer honor those coupons, despite having NO EXPIRATION DATE and this store issuing them. The woman working the window was as cold as a rock and about as friendly too. She had no compassion or apology and started the ring upi the transaction without the coupons. NO THANKS!!! We went to Burger King... sailed right through the drive through and found friendly staff, better food and a store that appreciated our business.
Upon coming home, I called Chick-Fil-A's corporate HQ and told them my horrible Chick-Fil-A experience. They didn't seem to care either saying that most of their stores are independently owned and they have no control. They said they would forward the complaint to the offending store. I was astonished that corporate didn't care. HENCE, THAT IS A POOR REFLECTION ON ALL CHICK-FIL-As!!! It gives them all a bad reputation. This one did MAJOR damage to that reputation.
Today (3/24/2016) I got a call from some woman (Amy ???) from this Robinson Twp. store who said that she was the new owner since February (last month) and... "WE DON'T ACCEPT THEM, PERIOD!" That was it. No apologies or anything.... just "WE DON'T AND WON'T HONOR THOSE COUPONS!" Insane as THAT STORE distributed them!!! She said corporate agreed with her. If that's the case, ALL OF CHICK-FIL-As ARE WORTHLESS.
She also disputed how long we were in line. She said they served 60 customers that hour, but I never told her exactly when we were there so she must have ESP. I asked my friend while I was on the phone with this moron how long she perceived we were there in that line. She said: "AT LEAST 35 MINUTES!" So much for fast food.
But this rude excuse for a businesswoman didn't care at all about me, my business or that she had a very disgruntled customer. Her attitude was disgusting. She was ill tempered and rude. What a despicable and horrid reflection on her store, Chick-Fil-A and herself as a person.
STAY AWAY FROM CHICK-FIL-A !!!! There are so many other choices for fast food and better and more reasonable ones too. Without those coupons, a simple, plain piece of chicken on a bun with pickles, a fry and drink was just under $7. FORGET THAT!!!!
My father's family were businessmen and had MANY different stores. They always treated EVERY ONE of their customers with respect and valued their patronage. YOU WON'T FIND THIS AT THIS CHICK-FIL-A and since their corporate office supposedly agrees with this rogue woman, then I say EVERY Chick-Fil-A is the worst choice you can make when looking for fast food... especially this one in Robinson where there are so many other choices.
BE CAUTIOUS OF OTHER GOOD REVIEWS OF THIS STORE!!! If this new owner only took over last month, the good reviews are for the previous operation. I also did see that others complained of the slow service and long lines.
If I could rate this woman and Chick-Fil-A ZERO STARS, I would have. They do not...
Read moreI will not be visiting this location, or probably any Chick-fil-A after this. I went to use a gift card and had a passenger in the car and used the drive through. Before ordering I did ask if it was okay to split the order, which was no issue. We pull up to the pick up window for the order. The young girl (who was very nice) asked for my name and even verified my order of nuggets and fries as she handed us a bag. I did explain there was another order and explained it was for my passenger and told her the order she was waiting on. However, my passenger checked the bag and it was her order and not mine. I explained to the young girl that we had the other order, but not mine (which was no biggie, stuff happens). The young girl stated that she didn't see my order and something could be wrong with their ordering system and I stated I did pay with a gift card.
She then goes and gets who I am assuming a supervisor/manager and we both explain what is going on. Once again, I never got angry or agitated. Things happen, which is okay. However, this interaction took a turn when the older lady kept insisting that I did not pay for my meal and she did not plan on giving me any food and was quite frankly dismissive despite she could speak to the worker who took my order a few feet away. And even when thankfully, they had stashed the receipt in the bag, it showed my order and it was only then she gave me my food. I understand protocol, but her attitude/demeanor was so uncalled for and probably the rudest customer service I have ever had especially with it being so unprompted.
I will never go back to this location or to this place again, it left a really bad taste in my mouth from her accusation of not paying and basically I was lying.
I will say the two younger workers were very kind and lovely, but that older...
Read moreThis review is for the new location right off of I-376 and Summit Park Dr, near the Quaker Steak. Day one at the new location was great. The old location wasn't lacking in the quality of food or service, but the new location improves on space available in the dining area and, more importantly the drive-thru. There are now two lanes for ordering, streamlining the process and allowing more cars to fit in.
The new decor is an evolution of most Chick-Fil-As built in the last decade, but feels much more premium, from the subway tile in the bathroom to the leather-like cushions on the chairs and booths to the succulents on every table. This location also has a nice selection of artwork that really stands out from the norm, in a good way. This update extends to the play area with more subdued colors and an overall cleaner look... We'll see how well it all holds up, as I'm writing this day one of the new location!
It has a family restroom, which is something I hadn't seen before at a Chick-Fil-A, and the place is well laid out, with plenty of room to bring the stroller right in with you for those big baby blow-outs. For little ones they also give you the option of trading in the kids meal book for a board book for the younger kids, or an ice cream treat if you already have the book they're giving out.
To revisit the location, this is much better than the old CFA Robinson. It's less than a mile away, but going to or from the city it is way easier to get to from 376. It's close to an IKEA, Robinson Mall, Sam's, Costco, and lots of shopping at "The Pointe" It is much more convenient from the shopping mainstays of Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Home...
