So I got burned today at Crumbl and I wanted to put a word of warning to everyone out there who may get caught by the same trap.
For literally every food place I can think of, you can save time and skip the line by ordering through the app. With Crumbl, however, this is not the caseâactually, it's just the oppositeâyou will LOSE time by ordering through the app.
You see, the way the Crumbl app works is it makes you pick up your order at a time slot that's most convenient for the store, not for you. So if the store is very busy, and you order a single cookie online, you may be forced to wait 30+ minutes until you're allowed to pick it up. You cannot pick it up any earlier because the app will literally tell you, "Uh oh! You're too early!"
I was waiting inside the store for my single cookie that I ordered online as I watched customers come in after me, order at the terminal, and pick up their cookies before me.
I stood at the register for 20 minutes before one of the workers finally came up to help and I asked, "People are ordering after me at the terminal and yet are still picking up before me. I ordered online, can I check in to pick up my order early? It's just one cookie." đ
To which they replied, "No, you can only pick up your cookie at the assigned time. Would you like to cancel your order?" đ
I was honestly kind of baffled that apparently the only alternative to waiting 30 minutes for a single cookie was cancelling my order and nothing else. Literally zero effort when it came to customer service.
The moral of the story is this: if you order through the app during the busy period, order at least 30 minutes in advance otherwise you won't be able to pick up your order any earlier, or, avoid the app altogether and just order at the terminalâsince the terminal will immediately put you in line instead of forcing you to...
Read moreOne day, in 2004 I was misconceived. An accidental cameo, or so I thought⌠one day, while learning the struggles of the modern age, I came across the sweet smell of sugar and cleaning products. I followed the smell almost a half mile until I was brought upon the doorstep of this postmodernist establishment. I walked in and was greeted with an entire choir, as each of the workers stopped in their tracks and belted the most beautiful hems Iâve ever heard. I soon found that my entire journey of life hadnât been an accident but to find and enjoy the taste of these sugary goopy batter balls. One fellow in particular really gave me the will to live. He was a larger fellow, with shorter hair and large feet.
Edit: I have befriended the big man. Still am unsure of his name but itâs too far into the relationship to ask. The quality of these cookies have only increased since my new found meaning of life, and Iâm flabbergasted of the fact that no matter what, the employees belt hems for each customer that walks in. No matter how strenuous of a task...

Our family absolutely loves Crumbl! We have some local to us and we always manage to hit any on road trips and such while out and about. How could you not want a cookie the size of a small childâs head?! The photos alone would be worth the purchase!
My daughter had her birthday club coupon to use so we stopped at the one at Robinson. There is a self service check out to place your order. We were having trouble figuring out how to get her free cookie on the self check out, and the worker happily helped us.
As always, walking into the establishment, it was very clean and refreshing. The simplicity just makes it! All of the examples of that weekâs cookies were set up on the counter to get a good look at for size and design. The pretty pink color of the boxes would just make anybodyâs day. Think gifts with Crumbl!
