I love port o subs, and i used to always go to this location since it was closest to home. Unfortunately, there was a time, or 2, that this one employee(i cant remember her name, had black hair, middle eastern I think, rarely smiled) was quite rude and inattentive. My son and I decided to get lunch one afternoon, and went here. When I ordered my sandwich, which was a #10, she proceeded to make wut looked like a #1. So I told her "I said a #10". She looked perturbed about having to change the meat, even though it was her mistake. Then when my son ordered his, he very clearly said he wanted honey mustard on it. She proceeds to put on the regular mustard. When my son said "no, i wanted honey mustard", she actually had the nerve to look at him and say that she had asked him if this(pointing to the regular mustard)is what he wanted, (and u said yes). If i hadn't been trying so hard to keep my temper in check, I would've ripped her a new one for talking to my son the way she did, as if he was in the wrong. More than that, instead of getting a different bread, she simply scrapes off the reg mustard, and puts on the honey one. Suffice to say, my son couldn't enjoy that sandwich, because the reg mustard, being much stronger, could still be tasted even through the honey mustard. To this day, I still wish I had jumped on her case as no mother had, for her rude and condescending words to my child. They also refuse coupons, even though they're their own. This was over a year ago, and we haven't been back to...
Read moreLet's talk customer service from the so called "Store Manager".
This is my 3rd time ordering from this location, and it will be my last. The first time was absolutely amazing, and the rep was wonderful. The second time, my order was entirely wrong and the sandwich was so disgusting, I threw it away. Today was the third time. I order (2) distinct sandwiches. I gave extra time for the order to be completed, and it still wasn't even started when I walked in for pick up. Now, when I walked in, the "Store Manager" stared me down as if I was an oddity, so I matched her energy. When I asked for my order, she told the assisting rep it was sitting on the prep station. It was the REP who noticed that one of the sandwiches was completely wrong. Instead of starting over, the store manager muttered and then yanked the meat off the bread. This happens to be the same "Manager" who made my second order. I watched and said nothing. The assisting rep made the sandwiches to perfection. It wasn't until I asked the rep for the Manager's information, that the "Store Manager" changed her attitude suddenly became nicer.
It's obvious from all of the other reviews on this location that the issue is MANAGEMENT. She is a nasty individual who should NOT be a representative of this chain, or should be at the very least monitored and corrected. To think that she was training a new hire today that had more attention to detail is embarrassing to...
Read moreFirst time trying Port of Subs while I was looking for a nearby Firehouse Subs. So impressed! Soft, fresh bread, great mustard potato salad and the service from Dianna (manager) and Jayne(Jay-Knee) (sorry for spelling) was phenomenal :) very friendly!
Just visited today 05/22/25, came at 10:50 AM to order. Store hours are posted as 9 AM but the signage was off and doors were still locked. Door was unlocked after I walked away and another car pulled up. Not sure what happened, but weird to keep the doors locked for 2 hours past opening. Also, they are never are prepared when they open. How do you advertise a special seasonal bread but never have it ready. Especially 2 hours late to opening. The employee and I'm assuming the manager truly lacked customer service and seemed liked they would prefer for us not to come there. I don't know if they were overwhelmed with their mobile order and that's their justification, but it's not...
