Going there between 3-4 is the worst experience I’ve EVER HAD! The manager was keeping the wait staff hanging around and joking while my food sat in the kitchen getting soggy. We were dying for a water re fill being it was so hot! Had to walk to the bar to get it. Our food came out crusted over with a film from Sitting under a warmer too long. The appetizer was completely dismissed. It FINALLY CAME. Then when I requested pico with my food, (that I already ordered) the waitress kept arguing, it doesn’t come with the meal. Oh dear lord. I told her this was too much. The manager came over and asked how everything was. I said not very good. Well well, he just made the comment they do the best they can do. Never NEVER WILL WE EVER EAT THERE AGAIN! They are horrible!!! MANAGEMENT IS GOING TO RUN THAT PLACE DOWN!
To make it worse, I ordered take out. 3 days later. A Monday. They did the same thing. Let it sit and ruin. Paid 49$ for a meal and queso. 1/2 in thick hard peal on top of queso. I’ve owned my own business’s, I’ve managed restaurants and venues for State Representatives. I’ve been in all areas of customer service in my younger years.
Ms. Christina, I really hope you teach that manager how to run a place. Hope he’s not your Husband. If so, sorry. I’d still ditch him. North Richland Hills restaurant.
From 2 prior customers, That still have a bad taste in their mouths from poor food and...
Read moreDuring the pandemic we ordered to go from this restaurant on a regular basis and were always happy with the food quality. Recently we decided to dine in. The food was even better served as intended, but the service was slow and ended on a sour note that may keep us from ever dining in here again: After apparent communication problems throughout our meal (despite my making clear at the outset that I speak fluent Spanish, in case it was an issue), when I paid the bill I gave the waitress a Cristina's gift card/certificate and my credit card, saying, "I'm not sure how much is left on the gift certificate, but put the rest on my credit card." She came back having merely printed the balance that was on the gift card and put the entire bill on the credit card. I explained that the entire reason we came was to use the gift card, but she refused to correct her error. I asked, "If this happens every time we try to use it, how can we ever use this gift card?" Her answer: "On your next visit." Impossible to find other waitstaff to help and we had (by that time--it took us 15 minutes just to get the check and attempt to pay it) a crying baby on our hands, so we just paid on the card and left. I hope the management learns to vet and train waitstaff better. I'm sure some of them are great, but the only one we...
Read moreFour of us went here on a slow Thursday night (tonight) and regretted every moment.
Drinks were slow and they still didn't bring what we asked for. I ordered a piña colada that was melted when they brought it to the table.
The salsa left a lot to be desired, it was like a can of crushed tomatoes with fresh onions thrown in.
The chips tasted like cornflakes with extra oil.
All of our refried beans tasted almost burnt. The rice was the same type you get out of a microwaveable frozen dinner.
The avocado cream sauce was more of a watery guac.
The meat in the chile relleno was bland in some bites and overly salty in others, while the pepper was overcooked and mushy.
The pork tamales looked and tasted like the kind you get from a can.
The ground beef burritos were overly seasoned.
The queso dip we got also tasted bland.
This was a $95+ dinner and not one thing was worth the money. I won't be returning in the next few years, if ever.
I'm surprised at how this place has gotten such high reviews with what we've tasted tonight. Not a single one of us enjoyed our food.
TL;DR: Food was awful, drinks were bad, service was slow....
