Ordered pick up for a lomo, arroz con marisco, and wonton. Was happy to hear they were blending fresh aji sauce in the back. Wontons were really good m; unfortunately the lomo was without flavor and appeared to have only been cooked with some soy soy sauce, no vinegar or cilantro. At first I was excited because it appeared they had hand cut fries ( as authentic Peruvian cuisine does) but they were these soft chunks of a baked potato( very odd), my wife had the arroz con mariscos and now has food poisoning. I believe it was from the mussels. I’m not entirely blaming restaurant because with shellfish it can be the luck of the draw, but something wasn’t being stored correctly ( it would appear). She’s been up all night with the lovely symptoms that come with seafood poisoning. Overall this place has potential, but there appears to be a need for a cook who truly knows Peruvian cuisine and its ingredients. Management also should carefully inspect the shellfish...
Read moreIt’s supposed to be a Peruvian restaurant but the main representative dishes from Perú were distorted with some other ingredients that completely changed the flavor and it’s essence. I ordered a traditional ceviche and my wife ordered lomo saltado, both dishes didn’t taste good also my ceviche was supposed to come with fried calamari but it didn’t have any on it, I asked for them and the waiter just said they don’t have no more fried calamari and didn’t offer any to compensate that, we also ordered 2 traditional pisco sour and they put ground cinnamon on it 🤢 such a mess. My total check was a little more than $80 for those 4 itmes. As a Peruvian I felt tricked because I trusted on my wife she said this restaurant have good reviews but I think that those reviews weren’t give by people who really know how the exquisite...
Read moreHad to give 1 star. We had come here a couple times in the past and it was good. Not sure if there was a change in management or the chef. The food came out unusually fast. My husband order lomo saltado. It was lukewarm and not freshly made. I ordered the tacos (3). The pink hot sauce we asked for was spoiled and the green sauce that came with my tacos was on the verge of being spoiled. We happen to sit next to the window, where I could clearly see the kitchen. There was no chef or kitchen team. There was only the female server and a gentleman that was making drinks and running back and forth into the kitchen. What a disgusting disappointment. We will...
