China Town Express — Restaurant in Norwalk

First time here tonight …. I live a 10 min block away. Had seen some bad reviews. However they were old reviews. I don’t write reviews but I couldn’t be more happy. Service was quick. Got a general tsao combo with white rice. The woman that took my order was friendly. The gentleman that gave me my order all smiles super friendly offering plenty of sauces and anything needed. To top it off my meal was the best general tsao I have had in at least a year. I always ignored this spot due to old bad reviews but I will be supporting them now. Holy crap. Portion sizes are massive - my one order is going to be two or three meals.

The meats are perfectly tender and seasoned well (not too salty). Veggies are cooked lightly so that they’re still crunchy.

They’re open to making modifications for removing any ingredients you don’t like (I thought it was really cute that the girl at the counter asked another customer if they were ok with bean sprouts in their meal).

Great place overall and definitely will go back often.

I ordered food on Uber Eats, 30 minutes after it said still preparing I called restaurant. I explained what happened she said she needs to get the assistant manager. Same person came on the phone saying they were assistant manager explained my situation again. She goes I need to get the owner and look into where your order is. She comes back and tells me that they never got the order from Uber eats .... it already was confirmed by restaurant that it was being prepped. Never trying this...
