MY HUSBAND AND I HAD TO COME BACK ON HERE AND CHANGE THIS REVIEW FOR THE FOOD ALONG WITH THE SERVICE REVIEW...So before reading my original review. We would like to state strongly that this food has changed and it is not that good at all anymore, because the rollo that we kept for the pickup order. Again had no cheese in it except for the crust mand it was very watery with a lack of taste. This one was by far the worst yet, and again, we will not be coming back here! But please read our original review.....................Let me start out by saying. I have always enjoyed they're pizzas and the rollos, but about three months ago the rollos have been lacking the usual overall taste because lately we have been getting them burnt and the inside. It does not have the thick consistency, as it used to have with cheese and the other ingredients with a great balance. Now they are watery plus with the overcooked crust. so for the review, I can only give three stars on the rollos, which is not why I am giving the service a one star....... today my husband and I placed a order for 2 separate orders, one of the orders was for a rollo, and a bag of fries which was to be picked up at the counter, and the other order was for 1 Rollo which was to be delivered and my husband was to get there he would pay in CASH for both orders and the delivery service.. When I called on the phone to place both orders there was a young man that answered the phone and completely did not understand what I was trying to order for pick up and delivery? So he thought he had me on hold, but I could hear him talking to another employee stating that he did not understand what I was trying to say plus he could not understand why I was paying in cash for botĥ and not a card'?? In other words, he was very rude in talking about me and when he came back on the phone he was still confused and he was still rude so at that point I canceled the delivery order and told him to just make the pick up order.... NOW ..... When my husband got there to pick up the pick up order and not the delivery order, he asked the older gentleman that rang him out and was also the delivery man.. Why? My wife could not get the delivery order. And his reply was, they do not deliver cash orders??????? So I called up and spoke to a Spanish gentleman and asked him. Why cant my husband pay for a delivery order in cash at the counter and have it delivered? his reply was i don't know who you talked to and he then replied, saying that they do that but did not try to rectify the whole entire situation. He acted like he truly did not care what the issue was.... ???? In a nutshell, I am now going hungry because you have the first young gentleman and the middle age older gentleman that could not understand a simple cash request and not trying to find out exactly what was going on to learn from the experience. I now go without dinner, but my husband is able to go to work with his!!! Plus another big question that is lingering is how does this spanish gentleman not know who I talked to when the place is very small and all of this went down in twenty minutes???? Please do not lie to a customer to try to cover up for another Employee, then not even try to rectify the situation.... My husband and I have decided that we will never be going back there again because for one reason their rollos were at a 5 star for us and now have dropped to a 3 star... but most of all, I don't care where you work you should have the common sense to understand that somebody is going to come to your establishment and pay for a whole entire order in CASH, but just have 1 half of the order for pick up and the other half of it...
Read moreMarco's has really good food, when they can get it right!!! This is the 3rd time in a row I've had an issue with my food but this one takes the cake. Whoever is working in the kitchen around 3:00 in the afternoon Needs to look for new employment. They are constantly making mistakes. Obviously this is burned but they thought it was a good idea to serve it this way. I'm flabbergasted that this is happening. The 1st mistake was a missing meat topping in a rolo The 2nd rolo mistake they had was adding mushroom when I never asked For it and this lovely photo is their 3rd mistake. I don't usually like to do negative reviews And make them look bad but nothing else is working. If I've Had issues 3 times in a row I can only imagine How many other people have had issues. Granted they are very gracious about fixing their mistakes and replacing the incorrect items but it shouldn't take This many tries to get it right. I do enjoy the food from Marco's So come on Marco's get it together Or this frequent flyer is going elsewhere!!
Update: I called to place an order for pick up and I wanted to pay in advance with a credit card over the phone. They told me they can't do that... What????? You take credit card numbers for deliveries all of the time. This place just sucks and keeps sucking as time goes on... My best advice is don't bother with this place. One day they will deliver to me the next day they won’t they have some kind of excuse of why they can’t deliver I’m about 20-25 mins round trip from the restaurant. Whoever the nightly supervisor is has quite the attitude and should not be working customer service. only thing they have going for them is their pizza is decent. Will gladly be taking my business to other pizza joints in the area who appreciate their customers because clearly Marcos in oak creek does NOT!
Edit to reply to owner: For one you should have never agreed to deliver in the past when it was convenient for you to deliver if we are outside of your delivery range. For two you should retrain your employees in customer service because it is piss poor. For three after reading others reviews about your establishment regarding masks and how you allow them to be optional for the employees that are working it’s best you did not deliver to us seeing as it’s “hot and busy” and “conditions are not ideal for employees to wear a mask” the employees are more than likely not wearing masks as they should be during this mandate and pandemic therefore spreading this virus to your customers!
