I work in downtown. I've got 30 minutes to walk there and get back. So I order online. Little do I know the prices online are 20% more than they are in store.
Small 12" pizzas are the smallest they have listed online, but I head to the store and look, there's an even smaller 10" personal pizza that's almost half the price. Not only that, but I look at the price for what I ordered and it's a $4 difference, before taxes.
Luckily, since I placed my order online ahead of time, was told it should be ready in 15 minutes, and arrived 15 minutes later, I got to wait around for another 15 minutes while they made my order because they hadn't even started making it by the time I arrived.
So I got to look over the prices more and then I bring up the discrepancy to the person running the cashier. He tries to say "it's taxes," but tax on the receipt is separated out and I show him the itemized price difference. He then says "well ordering online is more expensive." Pure bs.
Coupled with the fact that I got there, told them I was there for a pickup, and only then do they start to make the pizza and I got to wait another 15 minutes, this place is terrible.
The pizza itself is average and not worth the price they're charging.

Read moreI really wanted to give this place 5 stars, especially because the man working the counter (I think the owner) was so friendly! Service was really quick since i got a pre-made individual size pizza, which is basically their slice equivalent, as they don't sell slices. The pizza didn't look old per se but it definitely wasn't out of the oven fresh. I was a bit disappointed because I had asked if I could order an individual size pizza with different toppings than the ones in the display case and was told no, that I could only select from the ones already made, that I couldn't order one because they don't "do that". I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication or if they really don't allow ordering, which makes no sense since they deliver... The guy was really nice about it, it just sucked because none of the counter ones were super fresh or were the kind i wanted. The actual pizza was ok, a little floury tasting but not terrible or anything. An individual pizza fed 2 people and came with a free bottle of water for under $10, so i can't...
Read moreThis is my first choice when I want to have pizza or pasta for lunch downtown. This place offers a high quality product for under 10 bucks for lunch. You can't get a burger king combo across the street cheaper, or more quickly. The person who I assume is likely the owner, because he's always there; late or early, is always so happy to see me or anyone who walks through the door and appreciates your business. And if he's not the owner, he should be because you can tell he cares about his work. The vegetarian options are so delicious it makes me think I could actually survive going vegetarian completely if I really wanted to. I also love that going there helps support a local small business, in an area in danger of getting paved over by...
