Del Taco — Restaurant in Ogden

I had an extremely horrible experience ordering and trying to use the coupon and then she just said I couldn't then my order was supposed to have extra cheese and sauce on my burritos and when I went to eat them they had no cheese nor sauce so I tried calling but it wouldn't ring through so I just drove down and the lady at that time said they couldn't do anything to fix it because the lady earlier didn't give me a receipt but I showed her my cash app receipt to confirm and she said no they couldn't help me I'm I'd need to order and pay for new ones so I ordered when I finally got to the window it took her 10 minutes before coming to the window as she was talking to someone at the front (not taking an order nor handing it out) then she went out into the lobby then to the back and finally came to the window I was so upset so I had asked for a manager she said she was the one for that shift and I asked if I may have her name as she was not wearing a name tag and she said they are not allowed to give their name out so I said OK thank you and never mind on my order and left. I go there all the time as I have stomach issues andthese burritos are almost the only food I don't vomit back up so I was really upset. The store manager spoke with me today, the whole staff was amazing, polite, FANTASTIC customer service. They remade my burritos, took accountability genuinely apologized and made me feel welcome and appreciated. They know me as I used to go almost every morning/noonish time but due to scheduling conflicts I've had to come in the evening so they're still getting to know me and the entire staff is truly amazing, hard working with fantastic customer service and I've chopped it up to the 2 ladies must have just had a bad day which we have all been there. Del Taco is a place that I usually enjoy. I went in around 9:30 or 10:00 PM. Dried strawberry milkshake was spilled on trash can and floor. Floor was much dirtier than normal. Floor dirtiness was throughout restaurant. Restaurant was not busy other than drive thru. One small group sitting in restaurant. Bathroom was clean but I needed to ask for a key to use which in general bothers me. Food tasted fine but fish taco was noticibly smaller than fish taco I had a week or so ago at another Del Taco. Maybe they ran out of the size tortilla I was used to, tortilla for fish taco seemed size of street taco. It also may be that this Del Taco has a smaller serving size. Chicken Quesadilla also tasted fine but when it was put into bag seemed to be rolled into a ball, with medium soft drink my bill was just under $10. This was Del Taco on Wall and about 12th in Ogden. The Del Taco I enjoyed was on 27th North and I-15 which is a newer store but employees had more pride in the business as tables were being wiped down in other Del Taco while I was sitting there or possibly better trained or better management. This Del taco is located on 12th street in Ogden Utah. It has the worst customer service. I ordered $20 worth of food tonight and I always check my order before I leave the parking area and I was missing two burritos and guacamole. When I pulled around the line was backed up so I parked and went inside. I took my receipt in with me and told them I didn’t get these items on my receipt. The “manager” told me to go out to my car and bring in the bags like I was lying!! I had a bag of chips but no guacamole he took the bag threw in in the trash and got new chips and a guacamole. There was another employee there that made the comment I saw you put it in her bag?? So I head home my daughter has severe allergies so I got her the beyond Taco meal which is veggies and guacamole. I had never gotten these before so I didn’t open them and look to see if they were right! They weren’t!!! Meat in them…..after I just dealt with awful customer service I wasn’t going back but her meal was over $8.00. Young teenagers/adults working I would hope Del Taco would hire and train more competent people to run their stores! I will never eat at...
