This was originally going to be a 2-star review, but I made it 3-stars due to the amazing girl who served me.
When I pulled up at around 8:00 PM, the parking lot looked ghostly, but there was a family inside, so I knew they were opened. I walked up to the doors, and they were locked. I looked inside until I caught the attention of an employee who pointed me to the drive-thru, so I got back in my car and went to the drive-thru.
I ordered a K6 combo, and was immediately told the only sides they have are Green Beans and Coleslaw, disappointed but determined to get some KFC chicken, I ordered my K6 meal with Coleslaw, a large order of Cheese Curds and a Pepsi, no ice.
I pulled up to the window, and waited about 1-2 minutes before the girl had opened the window for me to pay. She offered to give me my meal for free due to the inconvenience of a less than stellar side selection, I refused and insisted I pay. I was given my meal and drink, and was asked to park in the front while my Cheese Curds are cooked, she said it would be 3 minutes, and she would bring them out.
I realized when I took the first sip of my drink that it was incorrect. It was a Mountain Dew, with ice. I waited for about 7-8 minutes for my Cheese Curds to come out, luckily they were hot at least, and I’m sure she hooked me up with a double-order; A): Because there seemed to be more than normal, and B): Because I could only finish one container, which is odd.
Overall, as far as the actual food went, it was delicious as always and curved my craving. The accuracy of the order was poor due to the incorrect drink, and ice. The customer service from the employee was very good. She was very polite.
I overheard an employee speaking with another employee and shortly discovered the manager on duty had walked out and quit earlier that day, and that she did not order the supplies she was supposed to, and that the General Manager was out on medical for the month. That left the cook on duty in charge, who had worked there for 2 weeks.
Due to that information and the situation at hand, I understood they were under a lot of stress, and they deserved a little leniency. However, the fact my order was incorrect was upsetting and inexcusable, especially since there was literally no one else in line at the drive-thru other than me, and the family that was in the lobby was sitting down eating already.
I did go in about a week later, and things were much better. However, they only had dark-meat on hand, and the cook actually complained when a couple came in and asked them to cook up some white meat an hour before close.
There are definitely some employees working there that...
Read moreWell... That was a disappointment. This rating reflects my last visit to KFC, prior to this the rating would have been much higher. First, the person taking my order sounded as if it was his first day. Didn't seem to know the menu and was having problems getting the order right. If it was his first day, then understandable. Ordered a root beer with my food. Root beer machine was down... Yet again. Seems to happen A LOT. Personally, I believe that it is getting close to closing time and they just don't want to make more. I ordered an 8 piece family meal with 2 mash potatoes and corn and a Pepsi. Order taker said that they had to cook more chicken and it would be 15 minutes before chicken was ready. Ok, I get that. You might run out of cooked chicken if you get a rush of people so I said that was fine. I paid for the meal at the window and was asked to pull around to the front and they would bring it out when ready. All good. 15 minutes comes and goes. Then 30. Then 45. Finally someone from inside comes out and approaches my vehicle carrying an order. But, no. Not my order. 10 more minutes and finally my order comes out. Hands it to me and walks away and before I noticed that he had not brought my drink he was back inside the building. At this point I'm just tired of waiting and am done. So, I leave without my paid for drink. I go home and begin to lay out my food on the counter. Instead of corn they gave me Mac and Cheese, which I wouldn't complain about except I have a food allergy to dairy and eating it would probably... kill me. So, no corn. Grab some chicken and potatoes and go to eat. Bit into my piece of chicken and began chewing and chewing and chewing. That was the driest piece of chicken that I had the misfortune to bite into. At least in recent memory. The skin wasn't bad but I think they only added 6 of the 11 secret herbs and spices. It was lacking.
No drink, no corn, dry chicken and almost an hour wait. I expect more from the Colonel. It was not "Finger lickin' good" but dirt dry and finger flicken bad. Terrible,...
Read moreThis is by far the worst KFC ever.. forgot half of each of the meals we ordered, then when I called, the manager Jose basically told me to drive back down and pick it up, and said that's to bad. Like for real.. no gravy, daughters meal missing her sides, my husband's sauces missing, no chicken in my bowl.. peoples would never tell their customers to bad... your store sucks at service
Decide to give this store a second chance, we'll that was definitely a bad idea.. I used to swear by KFC.. however this lo action has sealed the deal for me forever.. again with missing food, poor service, nasty employees. When I spend $60 on dinner for my family, I expect all my food, our gicken tasted like it had been sitting there for literally 6 hrs dry as heck (original recipes btw) loaded with grease and dry. My dr. Pepsi tasted as if there was cleaning chemicals in my drink which is surprising as how filthy the store is. The staff smelled like pot and was ignorant and rude. When I called about the missing items I was literally told "your lying, it was all in there, I checked myself, dude" out of 4 meals we were missing all but 2 sides. But they threw in 8 extra biscuits that were burnt and hard and could be used as paper weights.
If you want good bone in chicken, come to my work, at least we care and won't call...
