Big Daddy’s ice cream — Restaurant in Ogunquit

I have been in awe at how great the food is in Ogunquit! This place really topped it all off! Unfortunately, they were out of a few flavors like Blueberry Pie (no doubt due to its popularity) so I got the chocolate walnut. I was NOT disappointed wow. I wasn't expecting much but this might be the creamiest ice cream I've ever had. It was incredible. Perfectly chocolatey and the walnuts added a nice little crunch. The staff were very nice and funny to chat with. Great service! Heads up, the kids size is more of an adult size haha. Service was okay and quick but the staff seemed to be into their own conversations. I asked where the trash can was and I was told in a rather brusque manner it was outside. I ordered a Mint Oreo and thought it was pricey, especially with inflation and located in downtown Ogunquit, I was given more than I expected :-)I liked the taste but I have tasted it at other 🍦 ice-cream stands and palors. Sickly sweet. Yes the ice cream texture was pretty creamy but it was also a little melty. The ginger flavor was so sweet I felt sick part way. The picture of the half eaten ice cream is where I stopped eating because the ice cream made me feel sick. The ginger flavor was more candied ginger, with a heavy emphasis on candied and not much ginger. This flavor needs a long overdue revision.
