Went to this McDonald’s on a Saturday morning for a very simple order. Had a coupon which stated two small coffees, two hashbrowns and two sausage McMuffin with eggs. Stated that to the person who was handling drive-through. She was very pleasant and ask for the correct amount. Pulled up to the window and paid my bill. The person who handed me the order, who appeared to look like a manager, repeated the order back and handed me my bag. Assuming everything I ordered which was repeat back to me, would be correct I drove away. My mistake for not checking. Drove 10 minutes back home only to find out my two hashbrowns were missing. Over the next 15 minutes attempted to call the store five different times. The phone kept ringing until Verizon stated no one is available. Got back in my car, drove 10 minutes back to the restaurant only to have to wait in line behind five cars. Would have been happy to walk in but the lobby but it is closed for some reason. Explain to the person who took the orders that I was missing my hash browns from my order about 20 minutes ago. She stated I’m very sorry please Drive up to the second window. After waiting approximately 5 to 10 minutes in line for all the other cars to pull through, I see an arm sticking out the window with the bag. Upon pulling up to the window it was the same woman. All she said was here you go. I tried to explain to her that this was an inconvenience for me and a waste of my money. I’m not the type of person to expect anything for free, I work for everything I have. I stated to her that I had to waste my time driving back here, wait in line , and also had to spend more money on gas to come back. I explain to her this would have not been a problem had they answer their phone and I could have come back when it was more convenient. With all the sincerity an alligator eating the farmers prized goose, I got I’m sorry. This was not offered up when I originally drove up to the window. At this point I told her I’m sorry it’s not good enough. I tried to explain to her again that I have spent my time and more money to drive back here, I felt there should be some small compensation since they would not answer their telephone to take care of this the easy way. She said i’m sorry again, I made a mistake. She then stated that we do not have anything like that here but you can just speak to Ruth the next time you come and she’ll get you a free happy meal. Well, first I don’t eat happy meals and there was no offer to let me speak to the manager at that time. Frustrated at this point I just drove away. Confused as to how I can speak to the store manager Ruth, since the lobby is locked, they do not answer their telephone and she will not come to the window. Crazy. Most definitely will not be visiting this McDonald’s again. It probably has been a year since I have been there and I can vividly remember the last time I was there, the order was totally screwed up then too. Good luck to all of you who decide to frequent this...
Read moreI went into the restaurant because I wanted a moment to order and to not deal with people since this McDonald's has the order kiosks and I didn't want to create a line at the drive thru because I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted. The kiosks were down (because why wouldn't they be?) I ordered and paid for my food at 11:04 and by 11:10 I was a little irritated because three people who ordered after me were served first. Not really a big deal, I've worked fast food. I know how it goes. But I was sitting there, in total view of the front counter for about 15 minutes, and standing right next to the counter until I finally gave up at 11:34 - a half hour after I paid for my food, I asked about it to someone who had come in for her shift while I was waiting. The woman who took my order called out to the back to have 2 of my sandwiches made and then told me she had it all made but didn't see me - she never looked for me. I never left the sightlines of the front counter. A half hour for a few breakfast sandwiches when there was never a line at the register, nor at the drive thru. Maybe I was being too patient and too much of a pushover, but I was also just waiting to see if anyone would do their job and ask if I had been helped. Nope. I was given two apple pies and two hashbrowns for waiting so long and being lied to about my order. This McDonald's is only marginally better than the other one near me which is the only reason I...
Read moreMy visit is one that I was already worried about before I even got there. This specific store is always messing up orders taking too long. They talk in front of customers to each other very personally. But today I ordered a McChicken and a small caramel frappe with extra caramel so I get to the window I pay look at my receipt and it says caramel frappe with extra chocolate. So I get my McChicken and the girl asks me to please pull forward. So I pull forward to the designated reserved spaces for customers that are waiting for their food. I sat out there for 20 minutes. I just wanted to see how long it was going to take. But unfortunately I couldn't wait that long. I went in and they looked at me and says everything okay. I said no you told me to pull forward and wait for the rest of my order and it's been 20 minutes. They apologized ended up getting me a large with no whip cream and no extra caramel that I paid for. I think I might need to find another route that leads to another McDonald's in my area. Usually I would just brush it off but I've been working with the public since I was 15 I am now 40 years old. And my daughter and I go almost every day and...
