I love Tim Hortons. I always get donuts and bagels from Tim's in Bowling Green. On our way to Detroit airport my son had to go to the bathroom, so we stopped here in Perrysburg. I thought we could grab some breakfast too. He walked in the men's restroom and walked back out and said, "Yuck, I can't go in there!" I told him he could go in the women's as it is a 1 person's restroom, but we had to wait until the person was done. The toilet flushed and immediately a Tim Hortons worker walked out. The sink was dry and there was poop floaties in the toilet. I flushed the toilet and then then my son did his business, washed his hands and we weren't out front to talk to a manager. The manager, Vicki, was on a phonecall so I was unable to talk to her. I did call her later that day. I told her everything that happened. She didn't seem all that concerned. She was just going to make this employee watch a handwashing video. However, she didn't even ask for a description of this employee. I had to ask her if she wanted me to describe the employee (she didn't have a name tag on). So heads up if you go to this Tim's you may get a little extra on your donuts. And it's not a sprinkle... It's...
Read moreWe were walk in customers, who ate there. The clerk made us wait while continuing to attend to numerous drive up customers. When she got to us, she was rude and unfriendly. I got a donut and a hot biscuit. She put both in small bag, with the donut on the bottom. You guessed it, the icing all melted off the donut, which I didn’t eat. I asked for a replacement, and she seems to have found one that way half iced (see photo). About the coffee? Well she didn’t seem to have time to serve that with my order… the drive up took priority ya know… So when after a couple minutes I returned to the counter to ask for my coffee. She said, “I’m getting it, if you’ll just wait a minute.” Really? So I went back to sit down. Eventually she got my coffee, not walking the 12 steps to bring it to me, but leaving it on the counter without comment.
Thus was just really poor service. Big picture, so what? But really, I’ll never be back, and I’ll spread the word. I believe the person interacting with us was the manager. She was clearly in charge of the operation. The time was approximately 6am. There were at least four employees working...
Read moreI'm a regular customer of this location (buying two coffees almost every day) but my first time actually going inside as opposed to the drive through I received a major amount of attitude from an employee with a limp who acted as if I was inconveniencing him when I asked if they sold Keurig cups of coffee. I'm not sure if he just didn't want to serve me or it was because I'm a young black man but I instantly felt that I wasn't wanted. I will never be giving this particular tim Hortons my business EVER again. When working in the customer service industry it is important to make your customers feel welcomed and the person they have running the register inside did everything but. If I wasn't buying something prepackaged I wouldn't have bought a thing at all because from the amount of attitude I received for asking the simple question of "do you guys sell kcups" to which he scowled and pointed, I honestly feel he would've spit in my drink if he had the chance. It's a shame that I can't do something as simple as buying coffee without receiving...
