The best American breakfast experience I have had so far. This particular restaurant in Perrysburg had a great vibe to it due to the travellers to different parts of Michigan especially during Holland Tulip festival time. It has an even better ambience compared to the other first watch locations. The service persons are mostly young women of all colors who were trained well. It's good to see. The lady who served us realized that we may not eat pork or beef and immediately asked if we prefer chicken as a substitute for kids' meal sausage. We ordered a chocolate chip pancake, a kids meal (French toast and chicken sausage) and chicken avocado chop salad bowl.
Chocolate chip pancake - It was so soft and had a good cakey layer to it. The sugar on the chocolate was a bit on the high side. But it was so good overall.
Chicken avocado salad - Perfect combination of chicken and avocado. It had all the right ingredients in it to make it feel juicy and tasty.
Kids meal - Chicken sausage was cooked to perfection. It was neither too soft nor too hard. Right texture for the kid(s). The only let down was French toast. It was not of a great quality. Tasted just like another failed French toast which was prepared by a newbie.
If you're planning for breakfast stop travelling to nearby states, this is the perfect place for you. Will definitely return when we plan to cross this place...
Read moreJust moved in down the street, what s better way to have a first meal than first watch...so we thought. Got delivered with no napkins or utensils. I call in and speak to a new manager named Ally (apologies if I misspelled), told her about my unfortunate circumstance, to which she replied that it has to be chosen on the app. We didn't know and I didn't see an option to do so, which is funny because the app seems user friendly with steps and whatnot. Her idea to fix the situation was for us to come get some utensils, to which I replied that it defeats the purpose of delivery at that point. Her other solution was for us to call door dash and have them bring it. Folks, I used to be a general manager of a restaurant. In my experience when it's the restaurants fault, u conpensate with something that helps ease the bad experience like something comp'd that won't break the bank but will help make the experience for the customer better like free drinks that don't cost the restaurant much but shows that u care. Reply to this message if u feel we should rectify this situation in which ever way you deem best. If not, I suggest u adopt this advice for future customers because recurring customers is what restaurants strive for, not one time customers. And we like first watch back where we used to live, I want to like...
Read moreProbably worst First Watch I experienced so far. Morning meditation was just beet juice, no fruit flavor like it’s normally made. They decided to bring me another and the juice guy put the beet juice on the side (tasted better the second time because it had OJ this time). Elevated egg sandwich is usually great, egg came out white runny, no seasoning on it or avocado, bacon was cold too. Had the taste of being cooked 3 days ago put in the fridge, and pulled out then placed on sandwich while cheese was barely melted. The cubed potato’s usually are really good too, and roasted. These came out seasoned correctly, however, were white and basically in between soft and raw. Thankfully they had a few soft ones. I decided not to complain, because when they “fixed” the morning mediation and the juice guy put the beet juice on the side which is a common passive move in the food industry for people who “complain”. I never complain or leave reviews, unless it’s truly bad. This was a terrible visit, not worth the money. I do advise people to continue to visit First Watch, it’s a great place. This experience was more than likely due to them just...
