This is actually a Days Inn and a Super 8 all rolled into one which is a bit confusing when you turn up and there are both of the signs there. It is franchised out to a couple. I was in room 252 which is on the first floor at the back of the building facing a Panera take away. The room itself was fine, all the usual items like TV fridge microwave, air con, bath and shower etc. I don’t recall there being any tea/ coffee in the room, also no iron/board. The bed was a good size, well appointed and comfortable. It seemed to be quite clean with no obvious stains or marks. Only 1 lamp out of 3 worked in my room so it was a bit dingy. Wifi was terrible, they have DaysInn and Super8 servers, neither of which worked in my room. I went down to reception and got full strength, the lady who is the owner said it will be fine now, nope as soon as I got to my floor, it vanished without a trace. The DaysInn one shows but never connects. So if Wifi is a must for you, make sure you get a room close to reception. There are no other facilities like a gym etc. breakfast starts at 7 and is the usual continental fare, toast cereal, muffins, yoghurt, apples, waffles. There is a small mall opposite and several eateries nearby including a China buffet which is $13.99 all you can eat and was...
Read moreWe were quite pleased with our stay @ Days Inn Perrysburg, OH. We tried to check-in at 1 pm but the guy said early check in is $30 extra; understandable, nothing to fuss about so we opted to wait and check in at the usual time. The guy checked us in @ 2:30, one-half hour early. The lobby/eating area looks nice - looks relatively new and nicely furnished. Continental breakfast is adequate with a couple of juice choices, muffins, couple of cereals and slice of toast, and fresh coffee. They replenish before things run out. ||The room looked super clean, and the king bed was super comfy with four fluffy pillows, with hot showers and 80+ TV channels. Simple amenities like minifridge/microwave are a nice touch and we appreciate them. The shower (a slightly smaller bathtub version) ledge was a bit low (not as high as traditional ones), but water did not spill over. The cleaning crew stopped by each morning to check on cleaning and any supplies we needed. ||An open lawn space with picnic table to relax as well. The place looks totally safe with many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has decent amenities for a few nights stay, the price point is more than reasonable, and we would love...
Read moreWe booked this place due to the pictures looking nice. FALSE ROOM ADVERTISING. My husband had to go there for a night of work and the kids and I joined him. We checked in at 6 but didn’t actually check the room out until 9:30 after he was done working. We asked for our money back by 10 but were told that we didn’t have a problem for 4 hours. We explained that we weren’t in the room for the 4 hours but that didn’t matter. The manager said the beds were unmade. Yes, my children were excited and unmade the beds but that is when discovered USED GUM WITH HAIR STUCK IN IT between the mattress and headboard. The sheets also had stains on them. The desk chair had disgusting brown stains all over it. Even the soap was dirty! There were containers of soap on the wall with dirt stains all over them. Absolutely disgusting. We left by 10 even without getting our money back because we refused to let our children and ourselves sleep...
