Bob Evans — Restaurant in Perrysburg

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. I came here with my family of 6 this past weekend it took over 2 hours to receive our food and there was only one other table occupied in the restaurant. Our server was evidently new, when we asked her for some rolls she was flustered so we asked the other waitress Kendal for some. She very rudely snapped at us and told us that the other girl was new. We received the rolls not fully cooked some were raw in the middle. When we received the bills at the end of the meal none of the bills were correct. When I asked the young girl I believe Cameron was her name about the issues with the bills she went and asked Kendal who then yelled at her to get the manager. The manager then came and pretty much told us that there was nothing he could do to fix our bills and that none of the meals that we ordered qualified for the 3 course meal promotion. Before we ordered we clarified with our server that we could do the promotion and she said yes. To top all of this off while we are getting our bills figured out Kendal and our server Paisley were standing right near the counter gossiping about us. The cook from the back had to come out and tell them that was enough. I’ve been a service manager for 10 plus years and I’ve never seen anything like this. This restaurant has a real problem and I can confidently say I will never be back.

A buddy of mine brought me to Perrysburg to pick up a motorhome for my in-laws and it was not quite ready yet so we decided you to grab lunch. Had a 10 minute wait get seated but we were in no hurry. Not too many people in the restaurant and the girl that was the hostess was also our waitress and our checkout Clerk. I believe her name was Hannah. What a friendly outgoing young woman. Such a joy to talk with and we were in no hurry to leave because we were enjoying the food and the fellowship. She told us how she was going to school and working two jobs. She needs commended and acknowledged for being a young person wanting to actually fill a job that is needed in today's world of self entitled young people who want to stay at home for $15 an hour. Once again I am not sure Hannah was her name but we were in there August 29th around 11:30. So you can use that information to find her name because she was the only one working the floor. In my compliments to the rest of the staff for excellent food. People just need to chill out in the world today and realize that all the crying to get the minimum wage raised did nothing but ruin a lot of good jobs. Now we are fighting to fill these positions and relying on the senior citizens and semi-retired folks to fill these positions because nobody under the age of 40 wants to do them unless they get paid top dollar. First time experience eating here as I am from Norwalk Ohio but if I am ever back over that way I will definitely be...

Ordered food for the kiddos.. all kids meals. Nothing crazy simple things like chicken strips, mac and cheese and pancakes. Order arrived with the bag soaked from pop and food I called and was put on hold for 10 minutes. When a manager finally came to the line I was not rude and i told them they mistakenly didn't include things like syrup for the pancakes or forks and the other half of the order of meals for the other kids.

I asked them more than politely as I understand things can happen if they could please redeliver the food they missed and didnt deliver that I paid for and tipped on...they refused to.

I said that I understand things happen but to not offer to fix it was not cool.

Only about half of the order that we paid and tipped for was delivered ..and just wanted the rest of the food as we had several kids here waiting for dinner. answer...NOPE.

Manager was less than polite said "we can't come back out" before I even finished asking why or had a chance to say "I'm going to be forced to leave a review then,"

she's immediately retorted "we'll refund you." And hung up on me.

All because they didn't want to deliver the rest of the order they charged me for and I tipped for, but couldn't drive literally a block down the street to give the rest to me.

Last time I'll be ordering from this place.
