DISMISSIVE SERVER. During our 22-hour drive home from Florida, we stopped at the Perrysburg, OH Panera Bread Cafe (0870) on Dec, 23, 2018, at 8:40 p.m. We were tired and hungry, and Panera has a reputation for being a good place with good service and food, so we felt confident stopping for a hot meal to go. We were greeted by the person who we paid for our food, and told to choose from the menu at the other end of the counter. We walked down to look, had a few questions about the menu, and came back to the cash area where we were answered curtly. I found my Panera card, but I was told that it was not registered. Fine, no points - whatever. I ordered a soup and asked if I could have a piece of toast with butter to accompany it. "It comes with a baguette." Again, I asked again if I could have toast with butter, because she did not offer an alternative to the baguette. I asked for rye bread. I was told "We don't have rye bread." (not "We don't have rye, but we do have whole wheat" - or anything else conciliatory). My husband asked a question and got a half answer. She responded to our inquiries with a condescending half-smile. We just wanted to get out of there. My chicken noodle soup was all soup and almost no noodles. No butter was given or offered with the bread, although I requested toast with butter. Definitely we would never recommend this location based on this service. The individual named "Ashley" on the bill should definitely not be a frontline server. My stoic and easy-going husband, who rarely makes comment on such things, said "She should not be serving. She...
Read moreHad a sandwich and coffee delivered to work today. Ordered the sandwich pictured below; got the one pictured next to it. As you can see from the menu picture, it is an egg and avocado sandwich. Now, I never expect the food I get from a restaurant like this to look exactly the same as the picture on the menu, but this is just appalling. As you can see, the sandwich on the menu appears to have at least four (admittedly thin) slices of avocado on it. The sandwich I received had one single sliver of avocado on it. The most pathetic, paper-thin sliver of anything I have ever seen in my entire life. Which was honestly several times more insulting than if it had had NO avocado on it, because it means whoever made the sandwich did not simply forget one of the ingredients (the number of which can be counted on one hand) but went out of his or her way to deliver me this thin, green, massively overpriced middle finger on a bun.
I’m just done getting food from anywhere anymore. Employees everywhere DGAF about anything. If I forget my lunch/coffee for the day in the future I guess I will just go hungry/pass...
Read moreI ordered one of the newest breakfast sandwich item on the menu for my father. I clearly stated the order I wanted but due to the attendant not knowing where to find the item I ordered she chose the closest item that resembled my order. Im a little disappointed she did not ask for help. Obviously the food was not correct, I spoke to the female cook and she immediately helped me correcting my order and spoke to some one promptly about showing the register attendant where the item was so this could prevent further issues. I was highly impressed with the cook. I'm sorry i didnt catch her name. But thank you. My dad is diabetic and has other health issues. He can't eat much bread so thank you for correcting the order and removing the bread for me. It meant alot to me the cook was so accommodating to my odd request considering you are Panera BREAD. I also ordered a cherry vanilla bagel. It was good but it would have been better if there were not hints of onion. Cherry vanilla and onion is a very odd mix of flavors and I'm sure it must have came from an everything bagel that was toasted...
