Went in and got seated quickly but went down hill quickly. Ordered drinks and food. Told our steaks would not have mashed potatoes because they were out so asked for fries instead and replaced the asparagus with rice. Drink was shown on the menu to have a shot that came with it. When it arrived we were told they didn't do the shot anymore and the menu was wrong at which point our waitress just walked away without any other discussion about it. Also ordered coffee Appetizers arrived along with the rice?? Explained to waitress it should be with our meal and she said sorry and walked away leaving the rice to sit and get cold. Food arrived along with my coffee finally. Waitress said they had to make more but I have never seen coffee take 1/2 hour to brew. Along with our steaks was the asparagus with didn't want. Again waitress said sorry and walked away. Fries were good, rice was very good even though it was cold when our meal arrived. Steaks were bland and didn't have much of a taste. Coffee was not good, and cocktail was misleading on the menu. Now is when I decided to write the review... We paid our bill using their apt, got up to leave and the waitress steps in front of us blocking us from leaving and ask us to pay. We told her we had and even showed her the receipt on our phone. She refused to let us leave saying it didn't show on her tablet. In front of the entire restraunt she blocked us from leaving accusing us of not paying. After about 5 minutes it showed on their system and she moved and allowed us to leave. Being held hostage and accused of trying to leave without paying in front of a restaurant full of people, even after we showed the receipt was the last straw and completely inappropriate. Never again will I waste $100+ dollars on a meal at this location or any other dave and busters. Save yourself the headache and go to red lobster, Saltgrass steak house, or anywhere but here.

EDIT:

It has now been a week and even after this review and going to their website and filling out the customer support info this is what I got...

"Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent visit to Dave & Buster’s in Oklahoma City. Dave & Buster’s takes pride in providing our Guests with great fun, excellent food, and legendary service. In response to your email, I communicated your concerns to the General Manager. Rest assured, we took your concerns seriously and they have been addressed with the staff and management team appropriately. Again, thank you for your email. We hope you will join us again in the near future.

Sincerely, XXXXXXXXXX Dave & Buster's Guest Relations"

This was it. I figured not much and after not being allowed to leave and being treated like criminals. I kinda thought at least a phone call to discus the issue would have been nice. So I called their guest relations myself. After explaining the situation I was told thank you and that they would contact the restraunt and have the waitstaff informed of the issue to see if there should be some training needed. I believe this issue goes way beyond "a training issue" and as I told the agent on the phone, at least a phone call to discuss the issue would have been...

I’ve been a server. I’ve been a bartender. I worked in customer service for 8 years prior to going into healthcare. I give A LOT of grace, but they just flat out failed horribly. We planned on visiting for a fun Mother’s Day lunch and game Play. We made reservations for 12:45 for 12 guests a week prior. We arrived at 12:35. We left at 3:15 after only having lunch. When we arrived it was decided after much debate from the host , that the bartender would take our table in the back. So he tended his full bar, made drinks for the rest of the restaurant and our table. There were 2 other servers that each had 2 tables with 2-3 people at it. So, needless to say we were neglected. We waited a long while before he was able to greet us, take our drink order, make all 12 drinks, and deliver them. By the time he returned to take our food order our drinks were empty. He never returned to get us refills, because he was clearly busy tending the bar and making drinks for the rest of the tables. We notified one of the other servers with heart glasses who had time to stand behind the counter and chit chat with the other servers and host that the bartender clearly needed help that it was not a good idea that he was our server. She was going to go tell the manager which we later found out either didn’t exist or refused to come talk with us. The bartender then came back to our table and grabbed a second round of drink orders and went to make them. When he delivered them we asked about our food because we had been there an hour and a half and no food and literally every other table had came ate and left. He came back with the most awful food that had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp. Some orders were not correct. The only one who had good food was the one who’s order was forgotten. Because it was the only thing that was fresh. Burnt buns, burnt chicken, wilted lettuce, cold hard French fries. Absolutely awful. We told our server how awful everything was minus the drinks. His resolution was to bring the kitchen manager out who we were able to talk to and he offered us cake. The bartender should have never had to take our table and the servers standing around should have stepped up to help. And the fact that the kitchen manager was the only person available to talk to us says it all. They all could have absolutely cared less. They don’t care about your experience they just want you to come in and dump some money in the machines, so if that’s all you’re going for have at it. Never coming back. Main event in the...

I had the unfortunate displeasure of visiting Dave and Busters recently, and let me tell you, it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. First off, let's talk about their so-called "special offers." I signed up for their rewards program online, lured in by the promise of a tantalizing 50% off on all food items. Sounds great, right? Wrong. When I tried to claim this offer by simply providing my phone number, which is exactly what the terms and conditions said to do, the waiter gave me a look like I was speaking gibberish and proceeded to feed me a buffet of excuses. Apparently, despite their website's clear instructions, they couldn't manage to honor their own promotion because... well, who knows? The manager said no, and that's all we got.

But wait, there's more! As if being denied one offer wasn't enough, I also had the pleasure of being denied another. A welcome offer of free $20 gameplay when you spend $20. Sounds straightforward, right? Wrong again. The waitress couldn't even explain why they couldn't honor this offer. She just kept spewing out excuses faster than a broken slot machine. And let's not even get started on the sorry excuse for food they served. It was neither here nor there, just mediocre enough to make you wonder why you even bothered.

Oh, and let's not forget about the games. Or should I say, the broken, glitchy messes they have the audacity to call "entertainment." Multiple games were either out of order or they were so riddled with glitches that they were practically robbing you blind. And when I say I was annoyed, that's an understatement. I was ready to pack up and leave faster than you can say "rip-off."

In conclusion, Dave and Busters is a circus of false promises and disappointment. Don't bother wasting your time or money on their so-called "specials." They reel you in with flashy ads, only to slap you in the face with incompetence and indifference. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to spend your hard-earned cash. 0 out of 10, would...

I was in shock. This is no "Chuck E Cheese" for big kids like I was told. The food is delicious, and it was an absolutely wonderful time. If you're expecting five star restaurant; there isn't one in the metro at all. It's got that Chili's or other Chain restaurant taste, but presentation is marvelous. We got appetizers, "fancy" kid drinks, the full works meals (no play and eat deals - which are about $25 to eat and play a $20 game card), desserts, a generous waitress tip, and about $30 each person for game time....total cost for an ALL-OUT extravaganza was $290 for a family of four. Sunday-Funday deals are definitely worth taking advantage of; where 40% of the games are free for the day. They don't win tickets on the free games, but they do have hours of fun. You get free drink refills while you are playing, for as long as you would like. There were VR games, roller coaster simulators, a huge pac-man, basketball, ski-ball, coin pushers, and very popular game titles like Guitar Hero, Angry Birds, Mario, and Jurassic Park. I as an adult and gamer had a blast, my teenagers were never tired. I didn't even have time to play all the games in the six hours we were there! It was just so much fun. Everyone went home with nice prizes and gifts after several hours of game time. I will be back again, and again, and again! I can't believe we've suffered so many gross pizzas at other places. You get to keep the tickets you earn as long as you want; they do not expire and you can stack them up for bigger prizes over time (like a PS4 or XBOX One). They had a bar; however I did not attend and cannot review on the quality of it. Bored kids? Cold days? This is where you want to be!

A group of us came here to celebrate my neices 18th birthday. I was already hesitant to go because I haven't been here in about 7 years because my first experience wasn't very good but it was for my neice and I had to get her there for the surprise so cool I took one for the team. There were not a lot of seating choices because they moved the seats for people to play cornhole, so we were all in different booths talking to one another. So we decided to go play games for a little while and then when we returned there was seating available in the bar area for all of us which was much better. So now we set down as a group and ordered appetizers. The first one was chips queso, avocado so it comes together as some kind of mix instead of separate so one table asked for just queso they said ok. It took forever for the queso to come out of the kitchen. We asked for extra chips he said ok sorry I didnt get his name he was the helper. The chips took forever to come out of the kitchen and he only bought out one basket instead of 3 for all three tables. So it was $2 tacos and you literally can't pass that up so we all ordered that. That's pretty simple they really didn't have anything on them but meat and cheese so I really don't know why they took so long coming out of the kitchen and the chicken ones were cold. However I did have two cocktails a cross that was pretty delicious except the strawberry seeds which was my bad for not reading and a strawberry mango snow cone. Our waiter Delorean (probably misspelled) did a great job and had a positive attitude because he had a huge area to cover.
