Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I spent 48 minutes in the drive thru. When I finally got to the window my food was still being cooked. I told the nice young man they needed to get it together. There were three cars ahead of me when I entered the drivethru. Five minutes in I was trapped. I was informed they sent people home due to the thunderstorms and cooked everything fresh to order. I informed him they had no business having a drive thru. Seriously, they do not have an extensive menu. Anyways I asked for and was given a discount. The food is delicious hence the two stars. But nobody wants to spend almost an hour in the drive thru. Hawaiian Brothers is just down the street. I’ve never had to wait even 5 minutes in their drive thru. Food always hot and good there. I’m originally from Utah and have been away from there for five years. I’ve been going to Mo Bettahs since their grand opening in bountiful Utah. I was passing through Oklahoma City and saw that there was one there and I nearly jumped out of my seat just to run over to it. This location completely disappointed me. I got the Katsu chicken and Teri steak. The chicken was completely overcooked and honestly tasted like they were just using shake and bake from the grocery store and the steak looked and tasted like low quality meat that you would find at a dive Chinese restaurant. After trying the competition (Hawaiian style food restaurant), I almost didn’t come to MoBettahs. However, I decided to give it another try and visited your place. WOW! The atmosphere was awesome! I loved the tiki hut set-up inside. Really neat. The food worker carefully explained how to order and described each item I asked about. I tried the plate with the pork and crisp fried chicken. My husband chose teriyaki chicken and shrimp. Talk about delicious and fresh! The chicken fry was crisp, the pork was melt in your mouth yummy, the shrimp was large and fresh, and the teriyaki chicken was perfectly glazed! And the amount of food!
