The excitement and enjoyment of having a Whataburger in Yukon has officially died. This location generally was decent about delivery of food, quality of food, and overall service, BUT those days are LONG GONE! Service deserves a 0 star.
I understand they were fairly busy like any fast food place at dinner time about 7:30 PM. I'm ok with a little bit of a wait with this circumstance. However, we were trapped in line for far too long (approximately an excess of 30 minutes). I literally watched a truck hop the curb a few cars back to get out of line.
The boy working there straddled my three drinks in his arm pressing them against his chest. (Generally, they bring drinks in a cup holder when it's over 2 drinks.) I asked for a cup holder and paid. He told me my food was ready. It took another 10 minutes to get my food because the car ahead of me had some issue. In my opinion, they should of had that customer pull up to the side and a manager should have come out to assist them, not the boy going back and forth to that car holding me and the 5+ cars behind me hostage.
I believe I was overcharged. I asked the worker for my receipt and he said it was on the bag which was incorrect. The paper on the bag only listed the food for the order. No receipt was given so I couldn't verify if I had been overcharged as I believe I had been.
Needless to say, the food was no longer fresh by the time I received it. I'll think twice before returning to...
Read moreThe food was cold and gross. And it was the worst service I've ever received from any place of business. I waited in the far drive thru lane for 15 mins. While sitting there, I listened to every order in the left lane be mixed up, so I became concerned. I got out of my vehicle to check on our order, because 5 other cars that ordered after me had received their food. The manager(on her way out with someone else's food) then proceeded to become upset with me before I even said a word. Stating I needed to give here a "damn minute because she hadn't even given us our drinks yet" which she had. Then told me "I must have already gotten the food too since I have the drinks." and " I need to move out of the drive thru so the customers behind me could leave." I moved my car and went inside like she told me to. While I was going in one door, she smirked at me and went out a different door and gave my kid our food. After the order was placed at 1:55 it was 2:27 when we got it. It was cold and gross, but I knew not to say anything because she doesn't care. I suggest going somewhere else, but if you're craving Whataburger, a better location is just 5 minutes further away with easier access on and off...
Read moreEvery time I come here, I’m missing at least one item from my bag. And they don’t know how to make anything ranchero, just take it off the menu if you’re going to make it wrong. They either make it wrong or you hear “uhhhhh, ranchero? Hold on. Ok” and then charge you for ranchero and not make it ranchero. This time my BOB was made into a burrito, the hashbrowns sticks were so dry and I was missing all condiments, napkins, utensils, etc. you would think pancakes would come with syrup without asking. Every single time I’ve been here I have to come back in and wait for someone to acknowledge me to ask for whatever is missing. Even this time, “hey can I get some picante?” “Oh no I can’t do that, I have to get someone else.” And then there’s this man that walks around with ripped gloves on. You see him taking the trash out to the dumpster and then bringing food out to the DT with the same nasty ripped gloves and not washing his hands or changing the gloves. Maybe I’m biased bc I worked for whataburger in Texas and they were on our ssa about making sure the orders were correct with condiments, napkins and utensils.
