i love this place. the food is so good and the flavors are so unique. i love the atmosphere of the café and the the dinner ropa vieja plate is diviine. I got a bowl to go today and the portion was bigger than expected and delicious and fresh. they also put my coffee in the fridge to keep it cool because i walked to pick it up. overall great service and despite the rushes i have seen, the staff is kind and smiling and professional! as a food service worker myself, i can tell they put effort and time into being kind and accomodating, and i admire the work ethic and effort that has been put toward this place! it is insane how fast its popularity grew but it is warrented and worth it. also don't listen to that one person i saw post a review b*tching about authenticity in a novel nobody would or should read. i think they were mad for some entitled bs to be honest. this café is amazing and the coffee is delicious too !!

Another amazing spot in Olympia. I think their empanadas are some of the best food I’ve ever had in terms of texture! Everything I’ve gotten has tasted great, but my favorite so far are beef or spinach/cheese Colombian style empanadas. The Venezuelan style are also great, slightly smaller and with the shell being a consistent and more chewy texture while the Colombian style have a more distinct crunch. Honestly the Colombian style are pretty good sized, $7 for 2 is probably one of the better values in this area for some amazing food. I can’t wait to try more from their menu, and I have to say the staff is also very friendly! I live in the apartment building next door and always smell their delicious food during the day, so I expect I’ll be visiting very regularly.

Saw this place was on my radar one day and I decided to check it out. It's a cozy little restaraunt with plenty of Colombian flair (I was even dancing to the music in my seat a bit), and not only that the folks who work there were very kind, even commented on my Spanish that I been practicing. I got the Empanada Gaucha de Espinaca con Queso and a Chocolate to sample, and it was REALLY good! I will definitely come back here again, I went in on a budget just to see what it's like and I'm not disappointed at all. ¡Muy bien, Marly! ¡Hasta luego!

I am absolutely outraged and I’m making sure that EVERYONE knows. I went to lunch with my friend who is blind and has a seeing eye dog. We were first asked to leave as they say they didn’t see that the service dog had a harness showing he’s a blind guide dog. Next we were asked to move to a table in front of the door where it’s cold and uncomfortable, AFTER another couple was asked to move from that table to “accommodate” my friend and his service animal. By law THIS CAN’T HAPPEN!!! The lady was rude and did NOT believe he was blind, even questioning me if he really was. We made the choice to leave and not order there. We went out the door, my friend made a complaint to the non emergency police department, and the lady comes outside, to say that we need to understand her position and then asked us to move out of in front of the restaurant. I have never in my life been so angry at an establishment as I was here. It is a federal law to not discriminate or even ask why a person has a service dog. Not only did she ask my friend, but she all but called him a liar. I don’t care how good the food may have been, I will NEVER support this...

I was excited when this place opened up right near my office, so I went to scope it out as a future lunch spot. I got the empanadas colombianas with beef, and after another customer told a story about eating morcilla as a kid, decided to also get a morcilla sausage.

Both dishes were excellent. The empanadas were crispy and savory with lots of filling. It looks like a small portion, but it's really not. The morcilla was also delicious and it was fun to get to order something I'd never tried before.

Service was prompt and friendly. It was a bit crowded at the lunch hour, and the server did have to ask the folks waiting in line to put a pause on orders for a few minutes while the kitchen caught up, but it was a very brief delay and my food came out at exactly the time she estimated. So don't be intimidated if there's a line.

This is one of the least expensive lunches in Olympia for the quantity and quality. All together, with tip, I spent about $14. I can't wait to go back and try other things...
