This is a very soothing place: the atmosphere is not particularly notable or ornate, but it nonetheless creates a sense of calm. The warmth that exudes from this place is matched by the exceptional service and the delicious food, which was enough to last me through three or four servings. I bought the Thai Noodle soup, which came with delicious chunks of chicken, and it nourished me for the rest of my trip in Olympia, as I took it home with me in a container and went to it every time I needed succor like it was a kind of magical potion. There is a wide variety of food here, and you'll probably find an option that interests you, and if you do, you will have a very pleasant place in which to enjoy the food and think about the world from the clean and serene environment of this restaurant.

One of my go-to places, about once a week, is this delightful spot that seems to be run by a dedicated husband and wife team(I think?). The lady of the house is incredibly sweet, putting her heart into every interaction. Her service isn't just good; it's exceptional, making every visit memorable. The food here is not only reasonably priced but also excellent, offering great value for every meal. I highly recommend Far East for anyone looking for quality food served with genuine care. It's a must-visit for anyone in the area!

Really good food, and one of the cheapest restaurants in Olympia. Most dishes are $11 or $12, and there's an entire page of all-day specials for $8.50 each (which is pretty nuts in 2023 haha). I think the specials are just slightly smaller portions than the regular menu. Food is flavorful and veggies seem fresh. Fair protein portions, especially given the price. Friendly and fast service. Try it out! Really good overall.

PROS: Friendly service, slow but quality table side service, beverage refills and food correction and recooking was no problem, very gracious to make food adjustments. Food flavors were very well adjusted and balanced. Just the right amount of flavor and not too much in the way of saltiness or overkill of other flavors. Moderate pricing for the majority of the menu and on the back of their menu is the value pricing for smaller portions. Great place for to-go or medium size eating. Pretty affordable and easy parking with meters that accept both cards and coins. Quick ordering and relative quick delivery to table.

CONS: Food undercooked in my opinion (veggies were hard even after returning a second time.) Meat portions were simple too small. This seems to be a consistent complaint among their customers. A bit more meat even at their price point would be suggested. Portion sizes are clearly meant for small eaters-bluntly spoken, this is not most of America. We like big portions. The restaurant with painfully quiet with no atmosphere or soft music. The restaurant ceilings and walls have been patched and desperately need cleaned and remodeled. The decor is very old and outdated. Better lighting would certainly add to the rather gloomy interior. Outside of restaurant entry could use a good cleaning and pressure washing of sidewalk and fresh, bright...

This cute restaurant is slightly hidden when you first arrive as my boyfriend and I missed it when we first arrived by GPS. Luckily there was street parking in front of the restaurant and we were able to park just fine and enter the restaurant. We were greeted by our waitress who appears to be the owner and she was very polite and professional with us. She got us waters and menus and gave us the right amount of time to decide what we wanted. My boyfriend ordered the Singapore fried rice with chicken and I got the spicy garlic chicken with peanut sauce with a Thai iced tea.

The inside of the restaurant is cozy and cute. The ceiling has a beautiful pattern of blue skies with little clouds and there is good lighting throughout the restaurant that gives a pretty casual vibe throughout the restaurant. The food came out after some time and it was absolutely phenomenal. My boyfriend loved his fried rice and he also took some of the peanut sauce as he said it was very flavorful. I really enjoyed the spicy garlic chicken and wished it was a bit spicier as I ordered hot but that's fine. The peanut sauce was delightful to put on my meal as well. We thought the Thai iced tea was very refreshing and perfect. I look forward to trying more of the dishes here as we were happy with the food,...
