Best thing I can say about this place is that it's clean. Went there around 12:30 before I had to jump on the bus to grab a quick sandwich and something To drink. They have those new order screens, which is cool, but the cashier was there and didn't welcome me and instead said; "I can help you put in the order." I'm 21 and fully aware of how to work a basic screen application, plus I needed a minute to decide what I wanted. So I go to make my order and I order a mcdouble with extra onions and a medium drink. I had to pay cash so I walked to the register, and the same guy who had 'greeted' me when I walked in was working it, and he mumbled my total so I had to ask him three times to repeat himself. I went to sit down to plug in my phone so I would have a bit of charge for my trip and all the outlets had been covered, which is a huge middle finger to the customers, since I would go to mcdonalds in my town to work on my computer. Anyway, they bring over my food and I check the mcdouble. Instead of putting the onions on the burger, they had dumped them on top of the burger bun crown and all around it. I took it to the counter, and I called to the manager standing right there twice for help and got no response until one of the guys in drive thru came over, asked what was wrong and took the order and set it in front of the manager, saying what was wrong. The manager called it to one of the guys in the grill and told them to remake it and the grill person rolled their eyes and remade it. I grabbed it and left since I needed to leave for my bus and checked the burger on the way down the street to the bus stop. Same onion situation. No it's on the burger, just sprinkled around it and all over the wrapper. Seriously one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a while. I think well I can't give fast food a 5 star ... Th ere are so many great restaurants it seems unfair ha. Then I wrestle with 4 as it's pretty close to 5 meaning a restaurant like say Olive Garden and all the way up to Ruth's Chris's steak house, is the same as a good experience at McDonald's or any fast food establisment..I have a hard time saying well food was fresh and experience good at McDonald's so 5 star.. But then when I have good have a good meal and experience at say at Ruth Chris , it seems as if there should be another level so then I wrestle with what is right rating for the fast food great experiences that leaves room for better then it so I think we'll maybe 3 but I don't like that as it seems not very good and I expect to see complaint with a 3star or some issue with food. I have wrestled this serious life challenge lol many times. Maybe you all already came to same conclusion I did maybe not. Here is what my hours of torment and analysis have told me. Each experience and place weather fast food or fine dining stands alone... So a 4 or 5 star experience at McDonald's or the like is just that! Read moreThis is the McDonald's nearest me and I've been a good customer. But now I'm done with it. 2 drive through lanes, but they only use one most of the time. (For some reason McDonald's around here haven't had the lobby open since last March; hey everything else is open, what's up with that?) Today I sat in line for at least 25 mins on a hot sunny day. Line was long but not too awful terrible when I arrived. FINALLY made it to second window and sat there 5 mins without even seeing a person. Wondered if the Rapture happened and was I left behind. Finally, FINALLY I got food. By this time the line behind me was cars as far as you could see. The traffic waiting in line was blocking my escape and a car had to back up 3 feet to allow me through, and he had strong words for me for making him back up, lmao he was going to be in line a good 30 mins, so I didn't see how the extra 3 feet was going to help. So I get home and look for a number to complain. My search said the store closed before 8pm Sunday night. I don't know what kind of crisis they were having inside but that was strange.
