Billy Frogg's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Omaha

This was the worst experience I have ever received. Our server Kiana welcomed us and asked us if we knew where we was going to sit. I told her right there at that table where my keys were, I was looking at what beer they had on tap and she told me she could help me at the table. So because I felt rushed I ordered a Stella and my boyfriend ordered a crown and sprite. She just stood there so we felt pressured to order even though we just got the menus so we went ahead and ordered burgers. We was the only dine in customers except for the 2 guys shooting darts. We moved from a high top table to a booth because of the cold draft which we was fine with just wanted a warmer spot. This booth obviously hasn’t been used in a while because we swiped our hands across the table and you could see the dust flying in the air. My boyfriend got his drink that looks like straight soda. I took a drink of it which I don’t like crown but I didn’t have to worry about it because it taste just like sprite, No sign of the waitress so he went up to the bar and asked the bartender if he could get a drink with alcohol in it. The bartender was very rude and loudly told the waitress “did you get that, I am making him a double crown”. We then got our food. The burgers were good. My Stella was empty. I told my boyfriend I’m not walking up to the bar to the rude bartender and if the waitress doesn’t come back to our table I guess I will only drink the 1 drink. Waitress and bartender were both having a good old time with the 2 guys shooting darts. FINALLY the waitress came to our table and asked us if we was ready for our ticket. She said it was 60.10. She took our debit card. I walked up to the bar and asked how much they charge for drinks and the bartender rudely said it depends on what you drink. I asked for a print out and also the managers name and the only response I got was he’s not here. The waitress brought us the receipt to sign and asked us if we wanted to do a shot with them!!!! I hesitate to give this place a star. Perhaps for the ambiance. Our service was sub par. Im guessing the waitress was a member of the opioid epidemic. It was really quite sad to witness and experience the utter incompetence. Our food was equally disappointing. It was inedible. They have a small menu and its very simple. How it could be so poorly executed is beyond my comprehension. I wont go into detail but trust me when I recommend not frequenting this establishment unless you are only sitting at the bar for drinks. Very disappointed and would like a refund but when I called the manager I was given the run around and told a refund wasnt within his capabilities. Big surprise, incompetence starts at the top.

Addendum: To add insult to injury I called and spoke to the general manager the day after our experience. He told me he would put us in the managers log for a meal credit. When I went back and inquired about our meal credit the manager and owner were on site and denied this is a business practice and told me tough luck sorry for your experience. Not only did we experience a horribly unacceptable dining experience we were lied to and given the run around when we returned hoping to rectify the problem. DO NOT GO HERE, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SICK. Went here with my mom and sister for an early dinner. We got the Billy Burger, Steak Philly the chicken dinner with veg. We waited for our food to come out and couldn’t stop talking about how cold it was in there they had the ac on! It’s -2 today! The service was terrible and she was on her phone majority of the time, our food finally came out. We immediately saw that the burger wasn’t fully cooked, the chicken was smaller and thinner than a piece of card-stock, the so called vegetables was (onions and green bell peppers with cold and raw tomatoes chunks, the “Potatoes” WERE INSTANT! And burnt so that they were so chewy sitting under a warmer all day. We asked the sever to confirm with the cook, and they were indeed instant potatoes in a warmer. The Philly meat tasted old and bland, and the pickles on the burger were covered in a slimy texture. The pepper shaker had full of dust and debris. Never ate at worse place, that make my stomach turn inside out. Then the bill came out and it was $70!!! We of course asked for a refund or it to be discounted and they gave us 10% so it ended up being $65! For nasty dollar tree frozen food and instant potatoes.
