This is my first time ever rating a place ever...& I just had to because their advertisement was so miss leading they should get sued for false advertisement!! I got a Freddy's mailer today & was enticed to go eat there to get the deal they were offering...which was & I quote "Free sundaes with the purchase of up to 5 Freddy's combo meals" & then in the fine print it said & I quote "Come enjoy a FREE regular specialty sundae with each combo purchase (up to 5)." So I get to the restaurant & order my 1 combo meal (because I'm just one person & the mailer said "up to 5", which to my understanding & the understanding of anyone with a brain means I can order 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 combo meal(s) & get the same amount of sundaes for free). However, the manager tells me that I MUST order 5 combo meals to get the free sundaes. I looked at the mailer again because I thought maybe I missed something & then showed it to her & asked her where does it say that I "MUST" order 5 combo meals to get the free sundae? & she said it's says "up to 5" so that means you have to order 5 combo meals to get the free sundaes. I thought to myself what the hell??..."up to 5" does not mean "must order 5"..."must order 5" means "must order 5"!!!!! I told her that is very miss leading & if a person has to order 5 combo meals to get free sundaes then it should plainly say that!..cause "up to" means you start at 1 & go 'up to' whatever number it stops at...this is basic knowledge taught at grade school!!!!! I ordered my 1 combo meal (w/o the sundae) anyway cause I was already there & hungry!! (I think that's how they get you in the door!, but I did debate on walking out & going to Smashburger around the corner..which I probably should have done cause Freddy's food WAS NOT all that good or great anyway!!)...& fully intend to contact corporate first thing in the morning cause that is miss leading/false...
Read more11/11/2021 Happy Veteran's Day. This is the second time I've been to a Freddy's and the first time for this one. When I got there, there were no customers but there were also no clean tables. The tables weren't gross 😌 they just weren't clean. My wife went and got one of the staff to clean one for us. I got the Veteran's Day special, and it was tasty. I did see menu prices, and I thought they were reasonable. The first Freddy's we went to, several years ago, left us unimpressed. We went here because of the free meal and are considering adding it to our rotation. 🌟 🌟 3/3/2022 I dropped by for lunch and had a hotdog and onion rings. It was a tasty lunch. My previous concerns were handled quite well, and today, my lunch experience was pleasant. Plus one star 🌟 Thanks Freddy’s 😊 3/16/2022 For the last few visits to this location they have consistently told me that even though their system won't let them process rewards points that I could still upload my receipts and accumulate rewards points manually through the app. Today, Freddy's Customer Service told me this is not true. Minus one star 🌟 5/24/2022 Updated the new improved rewards app today, then went to lunch. The app still didn't work. Supposedly, it goes live 5/25/2022. The new app also didn't carry forward the 695 points I'd already accumulated under the old rewards app. Minus one star 🌟 8/3/2022 Stopped by for a burger. Things went smoothly, the food was tasty 😋 the staff was friendly, and the dining area was clean. Read moreFreddy's has always been my favorite restaurant. I usually eat at a different location, but today I ate at the one on Dodge Street. I brought my daughter and my grandbaby. When we first walked in, a broom, which had clearly not been used today, fell over and tripped us. The floors were very sticky, brown, and had fries in piles. When we got out order taken, my daughter wanted a strawberry shake, but after repeating and clarifying multiple times, the employee still rang it up as a vanilla shake. Once we started looking for a table, we realized every table was dirty. We were forced to sit at a nasty table. I wouldn't even let my grandbaby out of her carseat because I was afraid the highchairs would be just as dirty. I went to go fill up my drink and almost slipped because the floor was wet and there were no wet floor signs. I received my brownie concrete, but I could barely eat it because it tasted expired. I was about to complain to the manager when I saw another woman complaining to her and she did nothing to try to fix it. During the visit, I needed to go to the bathroom to take my insulin, but I was almost worried it would be too unsanitary, because all of the toilets were clogged and there was toilet paper all over the floor. After our meal, we looked in the freezer to take some custard home, but everything inside was either expired or didn't have a date. Even leaving the store, we couldn't throw our trash away because the trash cans were too full. I am very disappointed in my first visit to another Freddy's location.
