Go Detroit!! I know you produce most of the cars we drive, but I had no idea that your style of pizza was so delicious. It’s like a combination of two of the greatest comfort foods in the world; pizza and casseroles! Against my better judgment, I conceded to someone’s request to order a pie with apples, blue cheese and some other kind of magic. Did not sound appealing, but it was amazing! The second pie was combination of the four food groups. Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and black olives. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Went to pick it up and the staff was welcoming upon entry. The pizzas are being made behind glass and they seem to have a really good culture. Not a ton of seating inside. Maybe room for 12 people to eat at small to top tables. The Detroit style was cut into four large pieces, but the pizza is very filling. They also have a grandma style pizza which is thinner and seemingly larger. Probably the same amount of dough but just spread out with more toppings. Very happy I found this place. I will be back.

This tiny little place will offer a big surprise! Play Fancy ourselves Pizza aficionados. We've traveled to cities just to try their pizza! We've been to Detroit and had detroit-style pizza right in the backyard of where it all began. Izzy's captures all of that Detroit buttery crispy crust goodness right here in the midwest. The crust is buttery and crispy in the center of the crust is pillowy soft. Flavors are spot on. Our combination Pizza had the little cupped pepperonis fresh mushrooms and plenty of cheese. It was topped with sauce that was House made and tasted wonderful. There was seating for 6 or 8 people inside the restaurant so the majority of people were taking food out. But having a inside felt like you were practically setting in the kitchen and the atmosphere was perfect. The staff were lively, fun, and very inviting. We've had pizza many places, this will become a regular every time we visit omaha.

Great food! The pizza is worth the Hype! We had the Vanilla ice and Pickle special. Both were fantastic! The favors of Vanilla ice go well together and the topping ratio to crust is absolutely perfect. The pickle special surprised us a lot. When you hear pickle pizza you would think heavy on the pickle flavor that would overpower everything else, but this was not the case. The flavors blended perfectly. The layering was the perfect proportion. The sauce on top was a great touch and not overpowering. This one needs to stay on the menu! We have been once before and the dough this time was much more hydrated but the sour flavor was lacking compared to the old dough. But, that being said it was still fantastic! They ALWAYS sell out so be ready to order early so you can make sure to get your pizza!

Never disappoints! This has become our go-to local pizza spot, thanks to a truly unique pizza. The Detroit style pizza is a deep dish pizza with cheese and toppings all the way to the edge, with a golden caramelized cheese baked crust. Several great regular choices including our favorite Red Harvest with the cup and char pepperoni and dollops of ricotta cheese. They also have limited time specials, like the current Millions of Peaches with prosciutto. Started as a food truck (bus) that still makes the rounds at local brewpubs, and opened their shop just this year. It's busy, so order ahead online, or plan to wait an hour or more. The shop isn't really an eat-in kind of place, although if the weather is nice there are several picnic tables on the patio out back. It's a family owned business, and the owners are really welcoming, even when they have to tell you they are sold out for the day. Look, if they sell out almost every day, and have a 1-2 hour wait for walkup orders, it's clear they're knocking it out of the park. Can't wait for their upcoming location at 120th & Center inside the mini golf center. They will have a drive up window to make carry out orders even easier. If you haven't tried Izzy's Pizza, put it...
