My first time shopping at Lazy Boy in Ontario and not impressed. We did end up getting a leather recliner but have to wait about 6-7 months to get it. Upon entering the store a lady who I believe was the manager approached us and was very nice and up front about the wait time for a custom piece. When I asked when we would begin payment for it since we would not get it for 6-7 months she changed her tune. I of course know that when you buy things you need to pay for them. I also know that for big purchases like furniture and appliances the company usually gives you a finance option with no interest if you pay it off in 6 months or whatever their timeline is. For example, I had just purchase a washer and dryer from Best Buy that were on backorder so I had to wait a couple weeks to get my washer delivered and still waiting on the dryer. Best Buy didnāt charge me for the washer until it got delivered and they have bot charged me for the dryer yet. I felt that was a good question to ask. Well this lady, I think her name was Stephanie, proceeded to tell us that only serious customer were willing to put half down or something close to half and just kept bringing up the words serious customers. We decided to keep looking around and when we were ready another sales associate helped us. The first lady we talked to called our sales associate over and talked to her. When the girl came back it was very similar talk about only serious customers and making a point to tell is we had to pay the balance on the chair before it was delivered because they could let us have it and trust that we would pay it because who would pay for something if it was already in their house? Have these people never heard of credit cards? Then she made some weird joke about calling a bounty hunter. The irony is we were sitting at a table right next to a financing sign. All in all I was happy with our purchase but left with a weird feeling over how we were treated like we couldnāt possibly afford a Lazy Boy chair or maybe we looked like people who have bad credit? Either way if we are happy with the chair and want to purchase another I would definitely go to a different Lazy Boy location where they donāt jokingly threaten to send a bounty hunter after you or treat you like your going to try to stick a recliner in your purse and walk out the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAt first, the salesperson was great, friendly, and seemed knowledgeable about the chairs. They were out of stock of the chair I ordered on 12/14/20. the sales lady said it would take about 2 months which seemed kinda excessive but we were ok with it. I received the chair on 2/12/2021. it was ok at the beginning it wasn't the same as in the store. I figured it just needed to be broken in. As time went on, the chair pad seemed like it had a hole in it when I sat in it I sank in. and the backrest feels like there is a board that runs along my back from one side to another. We tried calling customer service and waited on hold for at least an hour. so we went to the store and they said we should call customer service, the manager was there and she called and we waited on hold there for 1/2hr.. so we left and the manager said that she would call and have them call us. I called the next day and spoke to another salesperson and explained the issue with the chair. And her response was, it seemed like someone was sitting in the chair all day. not a very nice comment for a salesperson to say to anyone. So we got a date for a person to come and check out the chair. "check out the chair!!" Really I sit in it, not some repairman. so he is going to come and tell me what my chair feels like to him. Oh, and the date he is coming is 5/25/2021.another month from when we got a hold of him. really a 2200.00 chair.with what we have been through with this recliner. I am now totally turned off with the lazy boy company. and paying 2200.00 for a chair that is supposed to be built sturdy and last years. seems like Lazyboy went downhill and is sitting on the bottom of the hill.I am really not happy with my purchase and my recliner.and the salesperson that was so rude to me over the phone. Wondering if I will ever get a recliner that I am comfortable for the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am so happy we chose Lazy Boy furniture for our home, and even happier we purchased from Lazy Boy Furniture Galleries on E. Mills Circle in Ontario. We starting shopping for a recliner back in August and frankly, I was ready to quit. But while at a competitor I wandered into their Lazy Boy section and while sitting in the most comfortable recliner my arthritic back and out of shape heinie had felt in forever, I watched a video from Lazy Boy on their quality construction, testing standards, and manufacturing facilities. American made! Exceptional quality furniture from a company thatās been around for 100 years so you know you can trust them. The video convinced me to buy Lazy Boy, the comfort of the chair was amazing and icing on the cake. My husband and I left the store and headed straight to the real deal- a Lazy Boy store. Better selection and EVERYTHING Lazy Boy! We were shopping for recliners, but after meeting Stephanie Weber at the Ontario store, (who has worked at Lazy Boy for 16 years! Now that says something about the company and the way they treat employees!), we purchased a sofa and two recliners! Stephanie was knowledgeable, took us through the store while learning about what we wanted and needed, showed us options to consider. She was amazing! We are so happy with our purchases and feel like we made a new friend in the process. We definitely recommend this company, this store and Stephanie Weber if you are shopping for furniture. Wish I had started here back in August and saved myself three months of disappointing shopping trips and searches!! Itās Lazy Boy for life for this family! Oh!! And also got a great deal with the Veteranās Day Sale... my hubbie is a USNavy veteran of 20 years, so the savings felt like a...
