Buyer beware!
Literally purchased 3 pair of earrings marked as 10k, found one pair stamped 10kGF (gold fill), one pair marked 14k, last pair 10k.
Since the one pair was obviously gold-filled I decided to acid tested the 14k pair and they showed to be gold plated. I did not test the other pair that was marked 10K but at that point I didn't care to.
I wrote to Ross about the issue and have so far received only the automatic thank you for writing to us email.
When I returned all three pairs of earrings to Ross at the outer loop location I informed the cashier about the issue. She commented earrings didn't even look like they were real gold anyway. I responded by letting her know that all of the markings indicate a 10K, NOT 10k plate.
I heard her asking her manager about what to do with the earring. He told her to put them back in the jewelry case.
I witnessed the cashier return them to the display case where someone else could purchase them.

So I attempted to return my items with the receipt that stated the refund policy, is within 30 days of purchase with receipt. I was denied my refund by a cashier because I didn't provide my state ID and the manager Audrey was very rude, after she first refused to even acknowledge or speak to me, she refused to show me on paper the refund policy requiring my state ID with my receipt to receive a refund. I'm a thorough reader and read the entire back of my receipt, nowhere on it does it state "ID required" I want my refund and the corporate number is a joke. Never again. Audrey needs to take the stick out of her butt and not get angry because I can only comprehend what I read, not the BS they were talking. Very, very unsatisfactory customer service. Read moreCame to do a return i purchased from another Ross at 8:30 pm keep in mind i had receipt, price tag and an actual picture of when i actually purchased the item still sitting on the wall at the Ross location as i had sent a picture asking my wife if my son would like those shoes. Manager Jacky claimed the policy is you must return it to the original Ross you purchased it at. Asked her to show me where that policy is stated on the receipt and she went on saying she would call the store manager and walked away on her cell phone coming back stating he said the same thing and they wouldn’t take back the return and pushed the shoes towards me. Maybe train your people to have better customer service skills and not a power trip over a $33 return, maybe she should be in the front of the store with Hector the associate ringing up while you guys have a rush Vs being mad about being called...
