Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe - Opelika — Restaurant in Opelika

I usually am not one to get on here and post anything negative. On 2/19/24(TODAY) at 11:13 I placed a doordash order. I ordered the Salmon Feast. It DOES NOT give you the option to add Tazkis sauce online. I pick up the phone and call Tazikis. I explained to TASHA, I do believe was her name, you can confirm by whos working and answering the phone today. I explained to her that I had placed an order and it wouldnt let me add the sauce. I asked if I could PAY HER for the sauce. That I only eat the salmon with it. So If not I needed to know before time to cancel it. She puts me on hold I guess to go ask. She comes back and says they are putting it in the bag. I explained that i would be more than glad to pay her for it. She replies, "I dont have time for that, we are in the middle of our lunch rush. You should have added it to your order. I guess we will just take the loss." Yall I am blown away. First of all I am paying $20 for a lunch option from your restaurant that I get often. I also explained ONCE MORE that the website DOES NOT give you the option to add it. I eat here at least once every two weeks. I can assure you this will be my last dime spent. I hope a manager sees this and addresses...

Food is delicious and a great healthy option, but they are CONSTANTLY out of a number of things we order, especially the lemon chicken soup. I had it one time a few years ago and loved it. In the last couple months, we have tried 5 or more times to order it and they have been out every single time. I recommended it to others who have been wanting to try it, but they have never been able to get it because they have been out every time they tried to order it. The man's only response every single time is, "Yeah, we run out of that all the time." He did once tell me they they are always out "because everybody loves it. Some people call and check first to see if we have it before they come because we are out a lot." It seems like this would be cause to make more each day.

I really love the herb-roasted pork loin and the rice and the tomato chutney that come with it are both delicious. But we have decided we may not order here anymore because it is frustrating for them to not ever have what we are wanting to order. If they could solve this problem and keep more soup made so they don't run out by dinnertime, it would be a 5-star review...

While I had the absolute best piece of salmon I've had in a while, I was disappointed that my Greek salad (although visually pleasing) was missing the kalamata olives, garbanzo beans and the pepperoncini (unless I misread the menu) 🤔... I just checked again and NO I DID NOT MISREAD THE MENU. Instead, it had sliced tomatoes (which I don't eat). I had already reached my destination before I realized it and going back was not an option so anyway, you got me this time Tazikis! If you're out of an item instead of choosing to substitute it with something else, simply tell the customer and let them decide if they still want the item. This Greek salad was missing, not just one or two but, THREE KEY INGREDIENTS! I had lettuce, tomato, onion, roasted peppers and feta! WOW! Also the baklava was just okay! VERY SWEET!!! I've had better but the overall experience (fast friendly service, clean restaurant and delicious salmon) was great and I will consider coming back for the salmon, maybe! But, I'm even more upset now as I write this review. Anyway, IF I come back, I'm definitely checking the product before I leave! I highly recommend you...
