Bob Evans — Restaurant in Oregon

The service here is fantastic! The last time we went our server's name was Kelly and she was very attentive, but not hovering. I have been there twice so far in the past 3 months since my husband and I decided to start having a "date night" even though it was earlier in the day so I missed trying the Broasted Chicken which is what I went there for. Darn it! So I got the fried chicken breast and it was really good! And for $2 more you can add a salad and all you can eat bread, which ever bread you want and a dessert. Well I didn't know that all the other regular sides came with it also so I ended up taking home a half of my meal and the dessert. I won't do that deal again, it is better for people with a "healthy" appetite. Coupons are great too if you cut out the right one. 😳 Didn't make sense to put a 4th of July weekend coupon with the ones for this month and put the rest of July's on the back. 🙃 I will pay better attention next time, I am just glad that I had enough money, but Kelly kind of got ripped on her tip and I hate doing that to good waitresses. I know how hard they work. My Uncle used to leave an upside-down penny if he found one tiny thing wrong just to avoid paying a tip. Cheap a$$! So if anyone that waits tables is reading this and you happen to get an old, tall and bald guy with a lazy eye (Caucasian) and he has a very tiny wife that ever leaves you a tip like that after you busted your ars to please them, that is probably my uncle. Bob Evans is a great place to sit back, relax and enjoy a good meal and some good conversation. Boxed baked goods are 2 for $8 and their cinnamon rolls...

We went to Bob Evens last bight for dinner with the kids. Everyone new what they wanted so ordering went fast. We were thinking got in quick the restaurant is pretty empty. We have never had bad service or bad food from Bob Evens. The waitress who seated us had to clean the table before we sat down .. hmm. Not sure why because the restaurant was not even half capacity. Ok so we sit and we order and we wait and wait and wait and keep waiting. Very disappointed. Finally after about 40 -45 min we get our food. The kids were happy with their food. But we were not so lucky. I am Not a complainer most of the time but mine was the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. The steak was soggy and cool to the touch the heavy on top looked as though it was starting to harden from sitting out and the Mac and cheese ..well im not sure where they that from. My boyfriends dinner was the whole hog and this poor guy. His sausage patties were burnt along with his ham. All of his food tasted like they put half a can of pepper on it. His eggs weren't done as he ordered. He had the worst dinner of us all. The servers were all behind the counter just chit chatting away while the dinning area remained clutter and dirty. Sorry Bob Evens you need to get these...

I left 1 star because no stars were not an option. Last weekend, we got take out - French toast that was BARLEY cooked, and eggs that were HARD (ordered over medium). I called, and the manager tells me that she'll write the meals down for credit because I didn't want to go back right then. This morning, I call to order breakfast with the credit. A nice, new girl answered and gave me to the manager. The MANAGER WAS VERY RUDE!! She got nasty with me, telling me she remembered our conversation about the French toast being burnt. I told her that no, it was hardly cooked, and the other breakfast with the eggs were hard. She was SO RUDE telling me that she never agreed to credit the other breakfast. I hung up on her after I told her politely (at first) that that's incorrect and it was two meals. This review is not about the food or the money. It's about how rude the manager was over a $5 breakfast THAT I WOULD OF HAD NO ISSUE PAYING FOR if she would not have gotten on the phone with an immediate attitude. The ONLY reason I hung up and didn't order was ONLY because of how rude this...
