There was a time when the food was dynamite and then it dropped off a bit. After the last few visits in late January 2023, the food has made a comeback. The meats have regained their flavor and quality. I wonder if they have switched management. The salad bar is filled with exotic fresh alternatives and dressings. The asparagus, salad, and toppings are plentiful. Different cheeses (Parmesan, fresh Mozzarella, and a Swiss type cheese) and vegetables (artichokes, peppers, and roasted garlic) make this a top notch salad bar. They were serving a very tasty Lobster Bisque this evening and it complimented well with a slice of Ciabatta bread. The meats included flank steak, New York, sirloin, parmesan chicken and pork, bacon wrapped chicken and steak, and my favorite, garlic steak. There were also succulent choices of lamb chops and leg of lamb. I don't know if I eat enough to get my money's worth (this is an all you can eat restaurant), but the tastes are worth it. The service is always great. The meats are served efficiently and the salad bar is always at your convenience. The price is about 50 dollars per person not including drinks. There were a few times about a year ago that I might not have felt that the price was worth it. With the improved tastes and higher quality, I will be back again.

Very disappointing to say the least. I am a huge fan of Texas De Brazille, however my last experience was short of a nightmare for myself and my guest. Our hostess did not have a clue of hosting or customer service. We had to repeatedly ask and remind her for basic needs (napkins, knife, butter, etc). Very surprised that the meat selections were not available within a reasonable time, and when arrived some of it was overcooked (totally un-chewable). Informed the hostess that a guest hat had been removed from our seating area, we asked her to check the lost and found, she indicated there was none. My guest went to the front desk and found it. The fact that our Hostess didn't even bother to inquire was very unsettling. Last but not least our dinner was a birthday celebration when we informed our Hostess of the event she simply said happy birthday. We had to speak to a manager in order to get our complimentary desserts.

This was my first time visiting Texas de Brazil and it did not disappoint! I do recommend making reservations, I made mine using Open Table and we were sat very quickly when we arrived. The entire experience was great. From the salad bar, which was great and was way more than a salad bar to the continuous options of meat being offered. Lamb chops were, hands down, my favorite. Second favorite, the filet. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Not to mention two different managers came by and checked on us and made sure we were being taken care of and thanked us for choosing their restaurant. We had add ons with dinner - a drink each, an after dinner traditional pomegranate shot, and each had dessert - that was absolutely delicious - and dinner was $211. Be prepared, dinner isn’t inexpensive. But well worth it. We will be back. We left stuffed, happy and completely satisfied!

For Orland Park it's fine, but fairly pricey. Oh, and the atmosphere is entirely detracted from when you look outside and see a huge police presence because Orland Park has gone so downhill in recent years.

The salad bar was great but a lot of their meat offerings had a gas flavor to them and when getting medium rare you would either get bone dry with gristle, something so rare it's practically mooing, or rarely actually perfectly tender medium rare.

I really have to dock points because other Brazilian steakhouses go above and beyond with their service. Water refills, regular check-ins, prompt drink orders and just 5-star service. I ordered a drink when I sat down and they just sort of forgot about it. It never came and since we only saw the server once more before the check came, I didn't even bother with having it made.

Our server checked in on us maybe twice, water was refilled one time, and never really had much attention or care given to our table. We were there on a Monday the place was not packed.

Another issue I have with this place is the noise. We couldn't hear our server and even half the time talking to the other people at the table was a nearly impossible task.

My biggest gripe was how they try to sell you so much stuff when you're there. We went there for a birthday, and we were asked if there was a special occasion we were celebrating. They said that they don't offer any sort of free desserts, specials or any sort of thing for birthdays. Fine, fair enough, but why even ask just to ruin the vibe and say they don't do anything for birthdays?

They also came by after we were done and prior to bringing the check with this tray of fake plastic desserts and another tray of alcoholic beverages to do dessert shots. It was incredibly awkward watching these two girls present this assortment of upcharges explaining everything in detail especially after being told there is no sort of thing they would do for your birthday or special occasion.

Overall if you can go to a Brazilian steakhouse further north you will pay the same and get constant water refills, excellent service, fantastic food and complimentary desserts and sometimes even drinks for special occasions. We went to one last year celebrating four birthdays that happened within a two-week span and everyone was given free dessert for the occasion.

You're already spending a lot of money on this kind of dining and experience, you may as well get your money's worth.

I won't be...

I visited on Thursday 10.12.23 ( I HAVE NEVER MADE A REVIEW BUT I WAS TOO DISAPPOINTED NOT TO SO THIS IS IT) After a long week for my fiancé & I we were so excited to go back to our favorite steakhouse However the experience we had that evening would be our last. We had reservations for 8pm got there a little early as we call ahead to make sure that was okay. We got to our table waited about 5 mins no waiter at this point we were really hungry as we only had a snack before as were both 3rd shifters at a towing company working long hours and just wanted to enjoy a good meal. So we just helped ourselves to the salad bar & got plated for our meats another 15 mins go by and we are waiting for the waiter still to check in maybe offer some drinks or ask if we’re ready for sides or meats. Nothing so we just got maybe 4 meats before one of the lovely meat cutters noticed we had no water after turning our cards. I wish I got his name because he was the only one who seemed to actually care!! We bought us water & our sides finally after sitting for 30 mins without nothing!!! Our waiter which came 10 mins later 40 mins after getting in finally checked in on us by then why did we him right? He was so busy with the table behind us that was checking out and leaving when we got in. Maybe about 15 mins after checking in on the waiter asked what meats we wanted and offered to get us new plates and we both were confused like he trying to take our plates and kick us out ? We said sure to just test him sure enough didn’t bring us new plates !! My fiancé had to get up himself a grab new plates we don’t eat lamb & sausage so we were still waiting for all the meats to come by as we took a 15 min break after trying to digest our food with no water or anything !!!! I couldn’t believe the service compared to the others times we came, we loved this place and always come on special occasions like this visit our newly engaged first dinner together.. at this point after getting the last meat my fiancé wanted we decided to leave as we felt like a total inconvenience. Not to mention for the rise in the price definitely wasn’t worth paying for the lack of service and hospitality we received. Guess we try Copper Hawk and transition to...

Hello, We had reservations at Orland Park yesterday on Father's day at 2:45. I have to say it was the worse experience we have had with any of your locations. We have been to Orland Park tons of times, Schaumburg location tons of times, when one was downtown Chicago, also in Las Vegas. This by far was awful. During our dinner our waiter was barely back to the table, sides were barely ever brought. Actually we wouldn't have gotten any if it wasn't for the sever who was refilling our waters stepped In and got us some. We only saw 4 meats until the last ten minutes we were there. Flank steak, leg of lamb, parmesean chicken, and sausage. We asked our server multiple times to send other meats to no avail. We were so upset we left hungry because of sick of the same meats. Even those same meats were scarce. My wife and daugther had to keep returning to the salad bar because they we still hungry with no meats coming. Also to add to this horrible (understaffed I imagine) dinner our 10 year old kids were charged full price. When we brought it to the waiters attention he said he didn't know. When we were greeted at the door they even let us know the reservation was for two adults and two children. Took an extra 15 minutes of waiting for them to fix that after we had to request a managers resolution. Sickening Also the fact that we have gotten the VIP cards for several years now. Without letting us know Sundays aren't part of the deal anymore??? Ridiculous. I work 3 pm to 11 Monday through Friday. Now we can't even use our card. Just sickening. Pretty sure we will never be back. Already have heard Fogo da Choa is coming to Orland. Also close enough another Gaucho place near Bolingbrook is amazing and great sevice. Its horrible because we have loved Texas de Brazil but it has gone to junk. Also the place wouldn't give our money back in the VIP card because it was over 90 days since bought. We hadn't used it yet. It was 94 days after bought....
