My family and I have been to this restaurant many times before and usually had good experiences, good food, and good service. Tonight, however, was a complete disaster from start to finish — hands down the worst dining experience we’ve ever had here.
We arrived at 9:50 PM, well over an hour and a half before their stated closing time of 11:30 PM (according to their own website). The hostess told us it was going to be an hour wait, which already didn’t make sense because the restaurant wasn’t even packed. On top of that, she told us they actually close at 11 PM — which means they can’t even keep their own information accurate online. Still, we decided to stay and give them a chance. Big mistake.
We were finally sat around 10:25 PM and placed our order quickly and clearly: 2 adult all-you-can-eat, 1 child all-you-can-eat, and 1 à la carte. For one roll, we asked for a California roll but swapped the kani for cream cheese — pretty straightforward. Of course, it came out wrong. When we sent it back, we literally saw the chefs rolling their eyes and making faces at us like children. That’s beyond unprofessional. Instead of fixing a very simple request, they acted like we asked them to reinvent sushi itself.
Our server, Aline (her name was on the receipt, unfortunately for her), was the biggest problem of the night. We repeated ourselves multiple times and still got missing items, wrong quantities, or things that just never showed up at all. She had the nerve to blame it on “miscommunication,” when the truth is she just wasn’t listening or writing things down properly. She also ignored basic requests like water (took 20–25 minutes to get it) and never brought kids’ chopsticks we asked for. If taking down an order is too difficult for her, she should be demoted to bussing tables because being a server clearly requires more brainpower than she has.
When dessert came, it somehow got even worse. We ordered 4 orders of the banana hot roll with Nutella: 3 from the all-you-can-eat menu (4 pieces each) and 1 à la carte (8 pieces). Only 1 of the all-you-can-eat portions and the à la carte portion showed up. We figured the rest were on the way, but instead Aline came over trying to shove the bill at us. We reminded her that two orders were still missing. She argued, made excuses, and then finally said they were “on their way.” We paid anyway — over $217 with an $33 tip (which, honestly, she didn’t deserve a single cent of) — and waited.
What finally came out was laughable. Another staff member dropped off 2 pathetic pieces of unfried banana with Nutella slapped on top and tried to pass it off as the order. Two. Not four, not fried, not even close to what’s on the menu. At that point, it was insulting. We didn’t even touch it, and our so-called waitress was nowhere to be found — she didn’t even have the decency to look us in the eye as we walked out.
I want to be clear: the rest of the staff wasn’t the problem, and I don’t blame the kitchen as a whole. The blame lies squarely on our server, Aline, who was nice enough as a person but far too incompetent, scatterbrained, and careless to do her actual job. She turned what should have been a simple, enjoyable dinner into a miserable, aggravating waste of money and time.
If management cares at all about this restaurant’s reputation, they should seriously reconsider who they trust to serve customers. Someone like Aline doesn’t just “make mistakes” — she ruins entire experiences. And based on tonight, she’s an embarrassment to the staff, the restaurant, and the profession.

We came here on a Saturday night as a party of 4 to give the restaurant a try and it wasn't too busy as there were a handful of empty tables. To be honest we should've taken the looks of other people's faces as they were eating as a sign of what we were about to get ourselves into. From the moment we sat down on the most uncomfortable chairs, we were already off to a bad start as the chairs gives a bounce from the design. We were given two menus, one a la carte and on all you can eat and we all decided to go with the all you can eat option. We immediately put in an order for appetizers but it felt as if the server had no idea what we were saying as we were reading off the menu. The appetizers came fairly quick as we ordered shrimp tempura, miso soup, chicken gyozas, salmon cochina and the sushi nachos (this took over 20mins to come out). As we got our appetizers we thought to put in our order for sushi since the service was definitely not fast. We didn't realize that everything on the all you can eat option, you have order by individual pieces...including a simple sushi roll like spicy tuna. In terms of our sushi order, it took over 30mins to even get our first "roll" as we ordered 16 pieces but we got one roll that was cut up into 8 pieces. We tried their specialty sushi options as well and those took even longer to come out and extremely underwhelming. At this point, we were well over an hour into our dinner and we have gotten maybe 2 rolls worth of sushi for the 4 of us total. We had to wave down our server to even get a refill on drinks while we were sitting at a table with no food on it. One of my party members decide to put in another order of California rolls just to have more food to fill our stomachs at this point but we were told another 30mins later that they ran out of California rolls....out of California rolls...I don't even know what to say to that. Overall just from the quantity of food by the end of the night, we may have gotten a total of 24 pieces of sushi between the 4 of us. We have at least another 6 separate orders in that never came but at this point, we were already in the restaurant for over 2 hours and clearly they weren't bringing anymore food to our table as we kept reminding our server that there were multiple orders that we haven't received. In terms of quality of the food, there was nothing amazing that I would say is a must have as almost everything tasted the same with salmon and cream cheese involved. For the price of $40 per person for the all you can eat option, it is definitely not worth the price tag. Believe whatever reviews you would like but this was by far one of the worst all you can eat sushi experience we've been through and first time ever leaving an all you can eat sushi place...
Read moreWhat an amazing hidden gem in Orlando. Has so much potential… They informed us that they are pursing a Michelin star…. For that my honest feedback. • atmosphere is adorable, when we first sat down in was great as the place got busier the music got too loud. You can see the kitchen and the chefs from where you sit. And there is a beautiful mural on the wall. • service was very informative and attentive however we would have like a bit more privacy. Extra seating plates were not picked up immediately, something you need to do if pursuing Michelin • big thing through the whole experience. Wipe your plates. Everything should be tight and neat. Example, first picture, ponzu splashed all along side of the bowl. • ordered one tasting menu and one all you can eat. I received my first course before even getting my beverage. I will say the beverages, amazing. Recommend the Brazilian cocktail, passionfruit flavor. • the first course was divine. Salmon tataki. I could have drank the ponzu it was so good. 2nd, 3rd, and fourth all came out at the same time. And this point my friend also started receiving her ala carte. The table got full very fast. To be polite I didn’t touch anything right away however more food kept coming. It felt very rushed. If you are doing a tasting menu it’s all about the experience and you should never rush your guest. We didn’t order any more ala carte which grateful we did not right away, because the rest of the courses came out just as fast. This menu has so much potential. Octopus tartar was over battered and fried. Tempura would have been better or completely replace it with the carpaccio of octopus. Salmon was over powered by cheese and or a fruit mixture. Being conscious of the ratios would have made these courses better. • ala carte menu… no complaints other then the ratios being off again. Salmon with guava way too sweet, Brie and Gorgonzola salmon was over powered by the torched flavor, however I enjoyed that where my partners did not I believe that’s a preference. Tempura was some of the best we ever had so light and not greasy whatsoever. •100% recommends the Brazilian dessert this by far was the best thing to offer and what a way to end the experience. Such a balance of flavors. Needs to be on the tasting menu.
Hidden Sushi is definitely a must try in Orlando. And if actively pursuing Michelin, just needs some fine tuning and they very well may be on their way...
