Where to start. Let's discuss the big things. The bathtub was stained, the building I was staying in had the ice machine removed with no indication where I could get ice. I went to two other buildings to see the ones there were either not plugged in or had a sign saying out of order. I went to the front desk and barely got any acknowledgment. Was told to go to the bar in the middle of the complex, but they were closed. I had to walk to the gas station every night to get a new bag of ice to put in my cooler that I also had to buy just to keep things cold.
Why not use the in-room fridge, I hear you ask? Well, it wasn't cold either. Trying keeping dairy products in there only for it to turn bad. So I had to keep everything in my styrofoam cooler.
Speaking of not being cold, the AC unit ran 24/7 just to keep the room at a warm 75.
The toilet took forever to fill, making every trip there a test of patience.
With some doors, you needed a key to get in but it was about 50/50 on whether they even closed all the way or even locked when they were closed. Don't leave anything of value in the rooms.
Most hotels will have that little string thing over the tub to hang your wet clothes. Not this one.
No shelves in the shower to put soaps and shampoos
Bar/restaurant would close at arbitrary times. Was told they'd be open until 11p but would go by there after 9p and they would be closed.
Sprinklers did a great job watering the only sidewalk, making it impossible to go to neighboring restaurants and shops without getting wet.
Only reason I didn't give this place one star was the location to nearby restaurants and I didn't die.
I reached out to this hotel twice without a response. Only after going through corporate did I get a response. They offered me reward points. I had to pay out of pocket for things that should be included in the price of my stay. All they had to do was knock off $20 off of my bill to have me stay there again and to not leave a bad review but they couldn't be bothered to do that. I assume they know they'll sell out the rooms because it's Orlando and don't care if someone doesn't come back. I could have stayed here every summer for the next four years for tournaments but nope.
Avoid. It's gross and their customer service is...

Read moreThe apartments are old but they come 3 bathrooms (which was a must for a family!), the pool is very nice, apartment are fully equipped to cook, they provide coffee, coffee filters, dishwasher pods, detergeant, they make it really easy to settle it!
However, we've had two issues. We booked a room for 5 but there was only 4 beds (and the sofa that converts into a bed). We arrived really late and they were aware of it because we called to ask how we can check-in. So we arrive around 1/2am, the sofa bed wasn't ready, it would have been a nice touch if they had gotten it ready for us, knowing we were five. We grab the sheets and surprise one of them has red stains on it...The security guard was awesome and brought us new ones, he said he would show the sheets to his boss because that was not ok. We never heard from them about it, I would have loved getting an apology. Seing dirty sheets when you just arrived gives you a bad impression of the place overall. But that is not all! So we had a split stay, we stayed there for a few days, went to a nother place and then came back to Wyndam. So we come back, to a different apartment, we go to make the sofa bed and they only gave us a set of twin sheets that are way too small. So we call them, they bring us new sheets and they are still twin sheets, we call them again and he say he will bring kind size this time. We get them and it's still twin sheets way too small, it's starting to get comical and this point so I actually asked him to come in the room to witness how small the sheets were. He took us to the room where they keep the sheet to make sure we got the right size and apparently somene put twin sheets on the wrong shelves. Also worth saying, one of those set had black marks on it. They took care of it, but honestly felt like a joke, like there was always an issue with that sofa bed.
Also some of the front desk staff were really sweet! So overall this places has a lot to offers and the apartment were really spacious, I just wish we didn't have all those issues with the sheets and would have appreciate the staff reaching out and...
