I was super excited for this location to open! I live close & was excited to have somewhere new to get take out from. I’ve been twice now & the food is great, but unfortunately I won’t be returning. Both times I’ve ordered I’ve done pickup - they have a cool area in the front where the food is put in a heated locker & you click your name for it to open & retrieve your food. So you’re in & out within less than a minute - super convenient to grab while I’m walking my dog. The first time I went, a worker followed me out to tell me dogs weren’t allowed… I informed him my dog is a registered service dog. He didn’t push it further & just said his boss is there & she’s super strict about it so he wanted to let me know. I went again this morning, I waited outside until I got a text saying my food was ready. When I went in, my food wasn’t in the locker yet, & the lady working immediately started telling me I couldn’t be in there with my dog. I told her he’s a service dog & she then kept repeatedly asking for proof or documentation. I told her I do have that but it’s illegal to ask for it… she kept asking & asking & pushing the point. She said it’s a corporate rule & that she has to keep her employees safe & some of them are allergic or “scared”. I totally understand this, & again, was just trying to be in & out within less than a minute without interacting with anyone. Very frustrating experience & didn’t appreciate someone trying to bully me into showing documentation that I do not have to show.

** I see a response was added from the restaurant, but I’m still confused as to what the “corporate policy” is? To break the law by insisting your clients show proof of service dog registration? Or to deny entrance to someone with a service dog…which is also illegal? If a service dog is with someone, there is a medical reason & I’m not going to “tie them up outside” & I’m also not required to show proof of registration to anyone.

The first thing to note is that if you visit at the right time, parking is quite convenient—you can simply park around the corner from the restaurant. There is metered parking available, though spaces are limited.

For my meal, I decided to create my own biscuit combination: a blueberry biscuit topped with a runny egg and bacon. I am particular about how my eggs and bacon are prepared, and this place did not disappoint. It was the perfect balance of sweet and savory, with neither flavor overpowering the other. I added tater tots on the side, which had a slightly saltier flavor than I personally prefer, but they were still enjoyable.

One detail worth noting is that the restaurant does not have fountain soda dispensers, but instead offers a variety of bottled beverages.

My partner ordered the biscuits and gravy box. She felt that the biscuit was the standout element of the dish, while the gravy was a bit bland and had the taste of a store-bought product.

Overall, I believe this restaurant has great potential, and I look forward to returning to try another biscuit combination...

I stopped by Rise Southern Biscuits and let me just say… this place did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the smell alone had me ready to place a second order before I even got my first.

The biscuits? Flaky, buttery, and baked to perfection. You can tell they put care into every layer. I had the [insert name of biscuit sandwich or item you ordered], and it was hands-down one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had... perfectly seasoned, generous portions, and balanced flavors. That signature Southern touch really shines through.

Also, their donuts deserve their own shoutout. Light, not overly sweet, and creative flavors that actually work—not just for Instagram.

What I really love about Rise is that it’s comfort food with quality. You don’t feel like you’re just getting fast food... you feel like someone’s grandma might be in the back with a cast iron skillet and a secret recipe.

Highly recommend for breakfast, brunch, or just treating yourself. Definitely...

This place is dangerous… in the best way possible. The biscuits? So fluffy they should come with a warning label. The chicken? Crispy, juicy, and downright addictive. I swear they sprinkle some kind of magic in their seasoning because I’m already plotting my next visit. The staff here are absolute gems — friendly, quick, and they make you feel like you’re part of the family. The whole vibe is laid-back but still buzzing with energy, and the food comes out hot and fresh every time. Pro tip: don’t skip the sauces and sides. They take everything to the next level. And if you think you’re only stopping by for “a quick bite”… good luck. You’ll probably end up ordering extra just to take home. Orlando has a lot of food spots, but Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken is on a different level. 10/10 recommend. (And yes, I’m already craving it again.)
