I went to Dunkin' on 1/29/25 at 4:37 PM, excited to try the new Valentine's donut, which I had ordered through the app. The app said it was available, but when I arrived, the employee told me it was sold out. I asked if I could get something similar, but he seemed unsure and couldn’t offer suggestions. He didn’t apologize for the inconvenience.
I then asked if I could get a credit and return tomorrow to pick it up. The employee had me pull up to the window, where he said the credit had been applied. I asked for a receipt showing the credit, but he refused and was unprofessional.
The lack of apology, no solutions offered, and poor attitude were disappointing. It’s clear why their 3-star rating makes sense—this kind of service will lose customers. The employee and his coworker even spoke in another language instead of assisting me, which made me feel ignored.
The Dunkin' on Douglas is so much better. The staff is efficient, kind, and always on top of things. Their drinks taste better, and the service is much more professional.
In the end, I left without the receipt showing the credit because the employee refused, and it was very unprofessional. Hopefully, the morning crew is more professional and kind, as I’ve had good experiences with a woman who works there. The two guys working yesterday afternoon (8/16/25) were snobby and ignorant. My boyfriend tried to order a large iced sweet tea with liquid sugar. When we pulled up to the drive thru window, they tried to hand him a large iced GREEN sweet tea. Nobody said anything about green tea. That’s not even the problem we have with them there. When we told them that it wasn’t supposed to be green tea, they replied with attitude saying, “That’s how the sweet tea comes.” I’m sorry, no it doesn’t. You guys are a franchise and all do the same thing with drinks and food. I’m a Dunkie Junkie in the first place, don’t tell me the “norm” for the sweet teas.
