Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Oxford

The Oxford, AL location has always given me great service. Tonight, on the other hand, was very different. First, I placed my order online. Secondly, this location was out of white bread. Your sub maker informed me no one fixed this prior to the previous shift change. After requesting a cash refund the sub maker asked his manager if she could do this. He came back and replied she could but it would be a minute. After waiting almost ten minutes for a refund the sub maker asked his coworker where Lisa was? In my presence the coworker replied she went to the store to get a pack of cigarettes. At this point it was almost laughable. Your employees from first shift not caring about second shift nor your manager caring about her customers. Is this the type of franchisee upper management allows? Also, is this the type of example your local management team leads by? She was obviously there when your sub maker went to ask her about the refund but her time on the clock was more important than my time off the clock. I got the turkey sub! You get like a pound or more of juicy smoked turkey breast, provolone cheese and the best tomatoes I've found in "fast food". I've also had the cheese steak and turkey club. The apple wood bacon and huge amounts of amazing roast beef is FABULOUS!!! I was greatly impressed on the quality and quantity of food you get for your money. They're a $1-2 more than other similar chains but nobody can beat their food!! You definitely get your money and taste buds worth!!!! Need to check them out!!! You'll be glad you did!! Not like it was opening week. Ordered a regular #7 ham and cheese. Lettuce shreds were turning brown. I asked twice for fresh lettuce before the worker got some. I’m not paying that much for icky brown lettuce. They were also out of pickles…just a container of pickle juice sitting out. Something happened to a worker's finger and she went to change gloves but not sure if it was bleeding or not or if she even washed her hands. I’ll not be going back. Period. No one who looked or acted managerial was present. This place was a mess....
