McDonald’s is better Tldr: Cons Paper-thin patty is dry in tasteless burger (missing dressing) Milkshake was more of a glorified melted ice cream instead of being gooey-ish/slushy-ish drink (pure liquid not thick) Excruciatingly long line for this overpriced garbage Less than mediocre chicken sandwiches
Pros: Fries are decent The Cane Sauce imitation atleast gave the burger the flavor it desperately needs
I always like supporting mom-and-pop restaurants, because the food often has the feel of homemade deliciousness. Once in a while though, you come across pure rubbish, such as RD’s.
On plain view, the dishes were overpriced, but why not try it, right? My family and I ordered a single deluxe burger, double deluxe, 1 chicken sandwich w/ combo and another w/o. After receiving the burgers, I found that the patties were very thin and dry (staying true to Arizona’s famed parched environment, I see) but I still hoped for the best. The taste never came. I chewed and chewed, feeling the dried ingredients brush against my mouth like sandpaper. Thankfully, the sauce they provided (poor-man’s Cane sauce but much sweeter) livened the burger, but was not enough to salvage the unappetizing disaster of a burger. The chicken sandwiches were nothing special (dare I say McDonald’s’ $1 McChicken tastes better).
Safe to say, if you’re looking to waste money, then visit this place. If you have an ounce of common sense, go to Dom Bar and Grill or just anywhere really, which I guarantee are worlds better compared to this junk.
Oh and also, the milk shake should be called milk shook with how melted it was. Instead of being like an ice cream-like frothy concoction, it seems like they just got store-bought ice cream...
Read moreCustomer service is not existent here sadly, great yummy food though!!!! My friend is vegan and I could tell our zucchini sticks didn’t look quite right, I took a bite and they were chicken tenders. We were sharing our meal so we turned back to have this corrected. They told us they heard us order what they had given us? We had to put in a new order of vegan friendly food and when we got to the window, we got shown the original food ticket. We explained that we would not have ordered that because she is vegan. They planned on charging us for the zucchini order and asked for the order of chicken as well? I explained since we are still paying for the new order (I am not vegan) might as well keep it. We had to go back and turn around to have this corrected and it was disappointing customer service having been out of towners. Lobby was closed. I would recommend Slackers as well for yummy food with better customer service, lobby and...
Read morecame primarily for soft serve and it seems they are limited to vanilla only. when we pulled up, we saw a sign saying drive through only. pulling back out and back on the drive thru line was tricky and my wife had to go out and direct me because vision was blocked by another parked car (where did they go?) and parking was very close to the street. first time on the drive through, waited a long time and then accidentally passed an order station that is like mcdonald's except it is easy to pass since shrubbery hides it from view most of the time. someone eventually came out and told me I had to go off the line and back which I did.
I ordered a 2pc fish sandwich with hot sauce on the side (they put taco sauce). they brought out the soft serve which was so-so. by the time we had the fish sandwich, we had checked into the hotel after a long 5 hr flight and a long 4 hr drive and found out it only...
