I had the worst experience ever here. The hostess that was at the door was nice, and our waiter was OK. I do feel like the experience was based upon our color instead of me just being a regular customer here. I say that because I told the waiter specifically that it was my birthday, and there was a table behind me that was not exactly the same color as I, as a matter of fact, we were the only Black people over there, and it took the waiter forever to come back and even check up on us.
The waiter told me that at the end of my meal he can come out with a slice of cake for me for my birthday. There’s a table full of kids, and I believe either one adult behind us, and the waiter came out with a bottle and sparklers and a cake for that table. It was the same waiter that told me that I will be receiving a slice of cake at the end of my meal and I never received the cake.
The waiter not really as attentive either, like he would come and drop things off and then wait at least 15- 20 minutes before coming back to check on us. With the table behind us….He didn’t go 10 minutes without making sure they were fine and had everything they needed and when they left, We thought OK maybe he’ll have more time to check in on us but we were waiting to close out the check for like 25 minutes after the waiter gave us our to go plates. There was this one couple sitting across the way from us that he came back to the table at least three times to check in on them before coming to us to close out our tab.
Food wise it wasn’t too good. The salad had too much sauce on it and the sauces did not go well together. It tasted like day-old salad with a whole bunch of sauce thrown on it. The croutons tasted like they were sitting out for a minute, and then they decided to use them because they were the only things to throw on a salad at that time.
The chicken was almost over cooked very very chewy and the fried rice had no flavor. I make better fried rice at home than the fried rice I had here. I’ve heard a lot about P.F. Chang’s in general, but I was disappointed when I came to this specific location. It was my first time having P.F. Chang’s, so I was pretty excited, but definitely underwhelmed...

I've been a loyal P.F. Chang's customer for years, but my recent experience was so horrendous that I may never return. We placed a takeout order for three items, and not a single dish was edible or remotely close to what we ordered. This is not the first time this has happened either.
The vegetable spring rolls arrived stone cold and completely undercooked in the center - a serious food safety issue. The chicken with broccoli contained no broccoli whatsoever, and the chicken itself was improperly cooked, making it inedible. But the worst offense was the salt and pepper prawns, which were breaded and fried with sliced onions - something we did not order and that's not even on the menu.
With our entire order ruined, we had to throw it all away and order pizza from another restaurant just to have a meal that evening. I immediately contacted P.F. Chang's corporate to demand a full refund after such an abysmal experience that completely eroded my trust.
In addition, the take-out is a lousy experience as there is no dedicated system, no attention to pickup customers and you almost always have to wait. Not to mention their schizophrenic menu - first there are bowls for dinner, then there are no bowls, they there are steamed dishes, then none, then bowls are back but for lunch only. Scallops were removed from the menu - the only Chinese restaurant without them.
To their credit, P.F. Chang's promptly issued a refund. However, the fact that this level of incompetence could happen at an established chain is mind-boggling. Inedible raw items, blatantly wrong orders, and improperly prepared food - it's hard to imagine a worse restaurant experience. Needless to say, I have major reservations about ever returning based on this and similar...
Read moreI’m sorry this review is coming in so late, but I had to take a moment to share how special our recent experience at PF Chang’s in Palm Beach Gardens was. It has always been one of our family’s favorite spots, but this dinner turned out to be unforgettable. During the meal, my brother and his wife announced to our entire family that they are expecting their first baby. The joy at our table was overwhelming, and we were all so happy. What made it even more meaningful was that our server overheard the news, and the team went above and beyond to celebrate with us.
They brought out a cake, bubble machines, sparklers, and the entire front-of-house staff — even some chefs — came out to make it the biggest celebration imaginable. We felt the excitement all over again, with joy, tears, and a sense of community that we never expected.
As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry for many years, I can honestly say this was one of the most genuine and heartfelt displays of hospitality I have ever experienced. It wasn’t something on a checklist or something they “had” to do — it was something they wanted to do. That’s what made it unforgettable.
I don’t remember everyone’s name, including the manager, because I was holding back tears of gratitude. But I will never forget the feeling your team created for our family. I’ve already shared this story with my entire work area as a perfect example of true hospitality in action.
My only regret is that we didn’t capture the moment on video, but it will live in our hearts forever. Thank you again to the entire Palm Beach Gardens team for your hard work, your passion, and your genuine hospitality. That night will never...
