Copa Nightclub — Restaurant in Palm Springs

Reserved a VIP table online for a bachelorette and was not given what was promised. I originally reached out through text and was told that I booked a bronze package that included two bottles for $450 with balloons and decorations. I did double and triple check the price with the person I was messaging and was told that I can pick the bottles the day of. Upon arrival, I told them I had a reservation for a table, but my impression was that they didn’t know we were coming and wasn’t prepared. Our waitress wasn’t aware of the package we booked and showed us a menu with a list of bottles. They did have prices next to them, but as I was told beforehand that I can pick two bottles upon arrival, we had chosen two bottles of casamigos which we only chose because they didn’t have champagne or Tito’s so they’re not even stocked with alcohol. At the table, there weren’t any balloons or decorations than our waitress hands me a check for over $900 on top of the $200 deposit I already paid!!! Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable!! Then our waitress tells us that she showed us the menu with prices first and that’s what we picked, but we told her that this wasn’t what I booked for and to take a bottle back since it wasn’t opened yet. After some back and forth with her, showing her the texts, and her talking to her manager, we ended up paying for the price of one bottle of casamigos because it was already opened. It was a bit more money then I was promised when I booked, for less service - no balloons or decorations and only one bottle instead of two. Communication needs to be better between the person texting and the people at the club or they need to double check the reservations so they are prepared for who’s coming. WORST PLACE TO EVER GO.........I arrived at Copa Nightclub on Tuesday, 10/11/16 at about 8:40 pm. I parked in the parking lot while awaiting my friend's arrival, who was celebrating her birthday there. The lot was full of patrons from the resturant next door and Copa employees. While parked in my Silver Corvette, security shined their flashlight in the car not once but numerous times from 8:50pm until......... the second security shined the flashlight, there was a short bearded guy standing there stating "there's two corvettes...i didn't know he bought another on in a different color" as they kept the light in my eyes, basically harassing me and laughing. I proceeded to ask why they were shining the light in my eyes and there was NO response. The 3rd time was when the security was standing in the parking lot in a group and the super huge security guy/bouncer, the fat one, said to another security.."shine the flashlight in her eyes to piss her off". One security guard was on his cell phone arguing with someone the entire time I was waiting as I could hear him talking. I have never seen such foolish security in my life. When white people were leaving the resturant next door to get into their cars, no one flashed any flashlights on them. What kind of dump is this??? A black woman can't sit in her Corvette and wait for her friends to arrive for a birthday party??? When my friend finally arrived for her birthday, she came to my car and we chatted and I explained to her what happened and that I couldn't stay to party at such a place. THIS PLACE IS TRASH. If I could give it no stars...

Came into Palm Springs with my girlfriends for a bachelorette party this weekend. They wanted to barhop around town, ending at Copa... which ended up being a phenomenal choice!

We started at a rooftop bar to watch the sunset, then went to a tiny tiki bar (too small of a space & for us to enter the bar, we had to separate our party into two sections of the bar 😥) , then to a LGTBQ tiki bar (too obnoxious & just not the vibe we were looking for).... none of those places had the fun hyped up party atmosphere that we were looking for so we headed to Copa.

We arrived at Copa around 11pm, and there was a line of 20+ people outside so we were excited to be on the guest list! (No cover and no waiting!) the owner of the club took care of us girls as if we were childhood friends of his!!! (We had never met him before this night, and we felt really special!!!) We were all blown away by his phenomenal hospitality and commitment to making sure we had the time of our lives!!

The owner even brought us up to the VIP table behind the dj booth and we all got to party with the Ying Yang Twins for the evening... talk about a cool experience!!! 🎉🎉🙌🏽 The bride was (and still is) over the moon about how awesome of a time we had that night. It’s one for the books and one none of us will ever forget! everyone can’t stop talking about how cool of a night it was! 😎 mission accomplished! 💪
