After a hot walk around Palm Springs my wife and I were craving something cold but light enough not to ruin our appetite for dinner. Fruit Wonders looked inviting with great reviews so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the Tropical Breeze smoothie with added protein and it was absolutely phenomenal. The flavor was bright and refreshing and honestly one of the best smoothies I have ever had. My wife went with the Super Green and added spinach and strawberries. She loved hers too and was really happy with the taste and freshness.

The downside is the price. We paid around thirty dollars for two smoothies which feels pretty steep no matter how tasty they are. Fifteen dollars for one drink is hard to justify even when it is delicious. Another small negative was the restroom experience. I needed to use it and when I opened the door I was met with a very unpleasant surprise in the toilet. It clearly had not been cleaned yet after a previous guest and I was honestly shocked to see the largest turd of my life. Thankfully it did not affect the smell of the main shop but man, that was a mood kill for sure.

I came here yesterday as I was biking through downtown and craving something sweet. I was looking for a healthier alternative and this place fit the script.

This spot is located downtown in a great central location and is nicely decorated on the inside of the shop.

I came in for an açaí bowl and to my surprise they came out quite large. The smaller option was 24 oz and the bigger was 32 oz. Certainly beats the 12 to 20 oz options you usually see elsewhere and the price was a couple dollars higher, but with a Yelp check in coupon the staff took $2 off the total so definitely a win in my books.

I went with the açaí bowl and added the blue majic to the base. Not my best choice, I think this altered the flavor a bit, but due to my own choice so I can’t blame the restaurant there. The bowl was filling and full of toppings.
