Having had Breakfast Many times we had see the new bar under construction, so we decided to try it tonight. Buyer beware!!! We sat at the bar and waiting to be served the couple next to us paid and left. I moved my seat so that I might watch the F1 pre race on one of three Monitors above us. While we waited for service and looked at the menu, I notice that the two had different prices, and no one wasn't lunch. Looking up I now see that the TV I was watching has been turned to Oregon game in March Madness also. The waitresses finally came to take an order I asked about the program change and she went off and told me that they were all connected and you couldn't have F1 on one while there was Basketball on the others. Later she was to reiterate the same, I explained that I was watching F1 while others watched Madness on the other two sets. A bar Boy "Francisco" was the only one that ever was courteous and willing to help....It gets worse, The game goes into 2xs OT but I'm patient and we ordered appetizers, glass of wine and Coors light. We point out to Francisco the menu discrepancy...and have a good laugh. He goes off to report the problem. An older man in a silly shirt comes in behind the bar, does some work and turns to us and ask's if alls ok, well I politely ask if he's the owner and he rudely says if I have a complaint he's NOT. I surmise HE is the owner so I mention the request for one of the TVs and mention the menu price discrepancy on the menus. Well, maybe he was having a bad day? This guy went off like a bomb!!! Make threats to my person and telling me I had to leave and that I was not allowed to return. I asked him for his name and "JIMMYBILLINO" couldn't remember it OR? I did not need to be asked to not come back... I got new meaning to "the customer is always right! See ya, would't want to be Ya. OVER PRICE FOR SO SO FOOD AND NO SERVICE. They got mad when there wasn't a tip. Push the clutch...
Read moreThings started off good. Then the waiter came over To our table and remove the regular menus because he said we could only order off of the happy hour menu… That’s fine no problem. But then It took us approximately 15 minutes to get waters. We ordered and nobody could tell us how many wings or tacos came on a plate they said “maybe 4 or 8” okay no problem, move on. The sun set and our daughter got cold so we asked if they could turn on the heater they said of course except we had to ask again because they probably forgot..again, they said okay but nobody ever came by so my husband got up and turned it on himself. We never got drink refills, our dirty plates were never removed from our table, nobody ever checked in on us. When we got the bill it was waayyy over what our tab was. I asked the waiter to please look it over, he had the owner come over and he said sorry we don’t offer happy hour drinks and laughed and I explained that wasn’t the problem that the problem was that we were being charged regular price for every meal but the regular menus were removed from our table and were told that we could only order from the happy hour menu. He got defensive and rude then called over the manager. THANKFULLY The manager saw what the mistakes were on the receipt and happily fixed it. All in all, I wouldn’t go back. Food was just overpriced frozen food, bad service, and an owner who has non existent customer service. We have so many other beautiful restaurants downtown Palm Springs that have amazing service and great food. The place is pretty but that’s all it has...

I saw the menu had a gluten free bun option so, I assumed it was a reasonably safe place to eat since I have celiac disease. I was hoping for some scrambled eggs or an omelette but I always ask about gluten and possible contamination before I order someplace. Yes, I realize this isn't a gluten free restaurant but most places can be accommodating for such a simple meal. I asked the waiter what on the menu might be reasonably safe and gluten free. His response was a curt,"anything without bread." Wow, thanks. Obviously. And as if that's the only possible source of gluten. I let him know I have celiac disease and proceeded to order the shrimp and avocado omelette without sauce and no bread. Well, a week later I am still sick from gluten contamination. It had to have been from here because it was the only non gluten free place I did eat on my trip. Please try to be a little more considerate of food allergies. Actually, celiac isn't even an allergy, it's an autoimmune disease and the side effects are terrible. I wonder if I'd have been met with the same condescending attitude from the waiter if I'd had a peanut or shellfish...
